This is a significant change. I appreciate the data and info. Omg!
No problem! Just thought I'd share as I haven't seen many automatics/CVT's reply or Accords. The Accord Forum isn't very lively either.
I think you'll do great with this feature, you seem to do very well at the track. I wish I could see my 60 foot times but oh well!

This was even with all of Honda's VSA still turned on. I didn't turn the button off on the dash nor did I do the pedal dance!

You'd probably give the Accord a run for it's money!

The CVTs we have testing the feature love it, as do the Accord ATs! There's been posts on the facebook groups outlining drops in time as well.

This is how Advanced VSA Control Strategy is displayed for a 2018 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T 10AT:

Light Ignition Pullback, Moderate Throttle Pullback
Moderate Ignition Pullback, Moderate Throttle Pullback
Aggressive Ignition Pullback, Light Throttle Pullback

I have mine currently set on the middle selection of Moderate Ignition Pullback, Moderate Throttle Pullback. Really wonder what aggressive feels like now!
Not sure what the Si has as mine was gone before this came out. Hopefully the regular 1.5T will eventually have this feature soon!

That's awesome, appreciate all your testing and time!

Mine sure loves it, really amazing how it feels.....hard to describe the shear instant torque you feel now. Pretty awesome we can put the power down now!

Yep, it does feel like an electric motor the way this power train puts down the power. Even more so now with Advanced VSA, pretty revolutionary plantery automatic 10 speed for Honda.
A Standard Range Tesla Model 3 does 0-60 in 5.6 seconds and the top of the line at 3.2 seconds. Seen them running low to mid 13 second up to 14 second 1/4 mile runs lately.
They also have "heatsoak" issues if you will so pretty good comparison if you would like.

Not saying it's faster than most Tesla's in ludicrous mode, just the way it feels & makes power. Just like my 2011 Honda CB1000R did as well.
The Accord literally puts down darn near all of it's torque at 1,500rpm and the automatic transmission keeps you in boost while shifting faster than you can realize.
It feels very similar too me with it's instant torque and linear power band.

Just look at a KTuner Stage 2 dyno plot, around 260 ft lbs to the wheels instantly & over 330ish+ at just 3250rpm:

I've spent a lot of time working with Hybrid & Electric vehicles in the automotive industry, whether it be at Wyotech, specialized Training with Honda or Toyota and at the dealership/service level.
Also electric motors in a variety of fields.
Almost worked for Tesla at one point due to my background and specializing in the hybrid/electric field.
Very use to the way they put power down and is why I love the Accord 2.0T

Like I said, it's hard to believe just how quick this thing is off the jump. Had a few skeptics as well until I took them for a ride!

You have some very convincing posts. Keep it up and I may be making a switch to an Accord.

I'd immediately get a transmission cooler, load up Ktuner Stage 2 and make a homemade intake. Oh man....what fun I'd have. Waiting for Advanced VSA for the CVT Civic to see what it does.

Appreciate it! It is a very very nice platform with the K20C4 engine & 10 speed automatic. I really love the combo and even more so with the Stage 2 tune and Advanced VSA.

Great thing about this transmission is it actually has a warmer/cooler unit(fin stack) built into the transaxle itself. Gets ya up to operating temp faster and keeps it cool as well. They use this same transmission under more power in the RDX so I'm not too worried about it.

Honestly don't miss the Si that much. The Accord is big but still only weighs 3300 lbs and handles very very well for it's size, I take it out on the same roads I use to smash with the Si and it's no slouch.
You can even get this with the 6 speed transmission which actually accepts the LSD from the Type R transmission, video on YouTube currently.

Prices are actually crazy crazy low right now on the Accord 2.0T Sport model.
One near me was like $28,000 out the door earlier this week and it had the really nice upgraded Black Chrome wheels! That was just the starting price as well, you could probably talk them down.

I have the PRL Stage one intake and KTuner Stage 2 w/ VSA and I'd have to guesstimate it around 300whp & 340wtq based off of the plot above, other cars I've run, & my seat dyno.
I can take a stock Type R like no bodies business down low but even with the tune they still have like 60whp on the top end due to that turbo. If they can stay anywhere near me down low they always end up walking me once we're past 60 mph.

I'm currently debating over a Type R turbo swap, bolt on and Hondata has base maps out.
It bolts right on and you can even buy an RV6 Accord 2.0T Down pipe w/ a $15 extra 02 sensor bung for when you do go to a Type R turbo the 02 sensor can stay in the correct position!
Very easy swap but it takes away that instant torque hit, you loose almost 100 wtq on the low end but the Type R turbo gets going at 2500 rpm bringing you almost 100 whp on the top end.
You end up with a car around 380whp & 360wtq.....which is not bad at all and actually might help the transmission out by not having to deal with a smack of torque to the face down low.

Hondata claims the A/T deals with the Type R turbo lag much better since it slips enough to let the engine build boost faster. The M/T has a pretty big hit I think.
Gentleman at elevation in Colorado is running a 13.0 flat in the 1/4 with just the Type R turbo, RV6 downpipe, cone filter & Hondata tune.
That's a 12 second car all day long down here, he walks around an STI like it's standing still after a staged 1/4 mile run.

Really see the potential in this platform. All why I stay comfy and sleek! I can barely tell the A/C is on, it's so nice to still be able to move in traffic with the A/C on while it's boiling out.

They also just released a flex fuel kit from Siri Moto w/ a Hondata basemap.....no KTuner support but you can keep your stock turbo, gain even more instant torque and have similar horsepower to a Type R swap.
https://www.proimporttuners.com/parts/honda/accord-sirimoto-e85-flex-fuel-kit.html

or.......Why not do both? Now you're at an easy 400whp & 400wtq............Hondata has been pushing a lot of the Accord work all of a sudden. Below are threads about each modification.
I don't have easy access to Flex Fuel and I'm not sure if I want to loose my instant torque, it really is amazing.

Hello Fellow Enthusiasts!

It is with great pleasure that we bring you a release full of progress for the 10th gen platform! We have been very busy and very quiet with everything happening here, but there is so much in the works!

This update is live on the website and available now!

For the Si (All 17-19):

New P2565 Wastegate Disable For Use With Aftermarket Turbo Kits Like The PRL Big Turbo Kit and MAPerformance Kits. If you used the previous option, uncheck it, then check the new one instead. Cleaner full disable and keeps Sport mode fully operational. The old disable is still available in the event something else arises.

Advanced VSA Control (If you know someone with a 2.0T Accord, this is available for them too)
Tired of the VSA system overreacting? We've had this option in development for some time and it's a great tie in to the factory VSA system. Maintaining some level of throttle intervention, we have built on the ECU's control of ignition during loss of traction. Simply enable the Advanced VSA feature in Quick Enables and then select your level of balance between ignition and throttle for the Advanced VSA Control Strategy under Quick Adjustments.
Please note in a situation that calls for it, like if TPMS says your tires aren't equal or you're on a spare, Advanced VSA can be disabled by enabling Cruise Main on the dash.
Advanced VSA Control will make its way to Non-Si platforms soon, as we may change or add options based on the feedback for the Si platform.

The C67 software has this already, as it's on the list you quoted. If you haven't received Honda's updates, do that first. They update the CVT TCM which you'll need to have done in order to use C67.

So I need to flashback to stock and unclock ktuner from from my car and get the new Honda updates, then I upload the new tune from newest version and I can use C67? Thank you for your help.
