No I wasn’t datalogging, it was the first full pull
ah okay. I usually always am datalogging when i do a pull.

it's really easy to lower the air charge yourself though. You can select the cells, right click and click adjust. I usually adjust it in -5% increments of where the pump was 100% and losing pressure. That's why i was curious if you datalogged it. Maybe can lower in a bigger increment if you are actually pulling a CEL.

Fuel pressure too low
Have you checked to make sure the fuel lines are all seated/connected properly?
If so then i would Datalog and verify how the fuel system is managing the ethanol

yeah, if you didn't datalog it, only thing you can do is try dropping the aircharge from around 3500-5500 area and then datalog. Around peak torque is where the pump will hit 100%.

Post up a log on hondata forums or email their support and they can help you too or call them. Pull about 10-15% from your air charge limit so you can at least get a data log in without going into limp mode and can all ways add it back. You may or may not need to pull some out of the boost by ethanol limit too.

yeah it's very easy to do. anyone can do it. Just takes many "revisions" to get it just right.

i'd pull air charge out from boost by ethanol limit.

Awesome thanks! So I just subtract 15 from each box right cause each figure are percentages? Just making sure before I go ahead and try it out!

Yup, that should at least let you get a full wot pull in so you can see where your fuel pump duty is.

You can reduce aircharge that way too but i personally modify the air charge from the boost by ethanol tables and not the main aircharge table because your trying to do a flex fuel calibration and not a set tune. This is what i am doing currently on areas where i dropped like 30 bars of fuel pressure. Adjust the value and retest.

highlight the cells you want to modify and right click. (i don't adjust the whole rpm but only areas where i am dropping fuel pressure, this is just for illustration purposes only)

Reduce it by 10 or 15% or w/e figure you want then click ok.

Just reduced all these by 15% about to go for a pull and see if it’s a good starting point. Thanks for the help!

if you are going to do a pull, make sure you datalog it so you can see the pump duty, the amount of pressure drop and the aircharge and the AFRs at WOT.

It must be a significant drop in fuel pressure to trigger a cel. I've seen as much as a 40 bar fuel pressure drop and didn't trigger any CELs.

I have also emailed hondata support and have gotten a reply from there pretty fast usually so you can try doing that. Although, they would probably tell you the same thing and to lower the aircharge.

Did a long drive with tons of pulls. No cel and was smooth. I just needed to get this map figured till my tuner sends me my first calibration. Thank you for explaining and showing me how to do it!

No problem and that’s good to hear. This ecu is almost all based on air charge so it’s really easy to adjust stuff.
Did you datalog your drive? If so, can you email the log to me :)

Looking for more power in second gear since I am at high altitude. Tried using full power in 1st and 2nd mod but noticed that actually reduced torque targets from the flex fuel base tune. @Hondata is it safe to copy the torque table from 3rd gear to 2nd?

I’ve always used full power 1st 2nd but had to lower the slip value to 1% on Hondata traction control because of excessive front wheel slip from all that added torque.
