Are red Honda badges only acceptable on a CTR?
Sponsored
I have to say I agree with that statement. IMHO the red badge is symbolic of the ctr, but at the end of the day it’s just a cool way of adding a red accent to your build.Nah. They look pretty cool on any Honda.
Adding a Type R badge, well, that's a huge no no.
If like to hear ur reasoning for being selective with the colors. Personal taste? Mines grey but I promise I won’t get butthurt lolI think they look fine on Si's too since the whole interior theme is red! Maybe don't put them on the car if your ext color is that green/yellow one though...
Actually, it doesn't look too bad at all.I think they look fine on Si's too since the whole interior theme is red! Maybe don't put them on the car if your ext color is that green/yellow one though...
Wow that's awesome, didn't know that!!The red colored badge has never meant "Type R exclusive," that's a meme invented by people looking for something to nit-pick.
They can call out Honda themselves then, look at the N600 being a "poser":
It's a nod to their Formula 1 history, and their first livery which was basically just the Japanese flag on a car. Red circle with a white background. This is also where "championship white" came from.
Recently Honda has only put red badges on their Type R's from the factory, but it has nothing to do with the trim level. I think some S2000s shipped with red badges in European/Japanese markets, but I'm not 100% sure, and that was never for a Type R trim.
Anyways I think it looks bad ass with a lot of colors. Championship White and Aegean Blue are the top picks IMO.
I don't know. I'm getting serious Christmas vibes from this pic lollActually, it doesn't look too bad at all.
Acceptable to who ??
If you want to put a Red badge on your non R civic, GO FOR IT.
It's YOUR car, if it is acceptable to you, then what does it have to do with what anyone else thinks.
Personally, I think the RED H looks good on ANY Car, even my
32 year old Maxima !!!

No argument you provide is ever going to change someone's mind on the interne...oh crap, you actually just changed my mind with that. Well played. The red colored badge has never meant "Type R exclusive," that's a meme invented by people looking for something to nit-pick.
