I removed the large mid resonator and it doesn’t drone. Has a nice mild increase in sound. Thinking about removing the smaller front resonator next.
Do you have a video you could show us?

So removing the resonators will cause drone, but muffler delete while leaving the resonators should not cause drone?
Nope, no drone! I absolutely love the sound. Just like the factory sound but up 2-3 notches. Perfect.

Here’s a clip. For some reason my audio cuts out at one point when I rev it and I couldn’t get it to stop doing it. This is after removing the large mid resonator. There’s no drone. That center exhaust resonator is supposedly designed to reduce low rpm drone so maybe that’s really helping. I’d love to hear a muffler delete in person.

Are you liking how it sounds? Is it much louder than oem? Like at idle and under acceleration.

I really like it and think it sounds a lot better than stock which is so quiet. At idle it’s pretty subtle inside the car. It’s quiet cruising on the highway. But on the gas it sounds great and is much more noticeable.

What about on the highway? I’m planning on removing both resonators and putting in one vibrant ultra quiet resonator where the big mid resonator is on Monday, IDK if I should delete the little resonator or keep it. And the video cuts in and out a little. You should do a video on how it sounds in the cabin.

I'm still holding out (for fun funds) but my first exhaust mod will be catted downpipe. I'm hoping that, plus the intake, give me the sounds I'd like!
This is the route I'm going to go. I actually think a catless DP on the stock R exhaust sounds awesome but I hate the smell so I'll go catted as well. Comparitively, I had a catless DP on my Si and it sounded like ass and I had to remove it.
