How many Si's vs. other Civic's have you seen out in the wild?

Here in the Bay area and when I travel to LA I see a ton of regular Civics (about as common as Camrys and Corollas), followed by Civics Sports Hatch, and rarely do I see Gen X Si's, and maybe I have seen around three CTR's probably due to them only having a MT option. I suspect you would see more Si's if they offered CVT
Agreed 1000000%. I really feel like having a MT is like an extra layer of anti-theft these days lol. So many people can not drive them.

It's weird, we don't see a lot of Si's out on the road but this Si forum is at least half as popular(76,000 Si posts vs. 128,000 Gen Civic posts) as the General 10th Gen forum. Weird because there's probably a ratio of 20-1 in sales.
It's probably due to the fact that most civic (non Si or CTR) owners aren't as pumped about their cars or they could be less tech savvy, older folks who don't care for forums.

Based on everyone's posts there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of Si's out there in population. I see the last gen(#9) was discontinued in 2015 due to lack of sales, is our Gen #10 destined to the same fate?
The main reason you don't see more Si's on the road is:

1 It's a niche car like it's predecessors and appeals to a certain crowd
2 It has a manual Transmission (only 3 percent of cars in the US were sold with MT)
3 It has a Manual Transmission.....

Although I will say that the 10th Gen Si does have appeal that previous gen Si's don't have and does draw people outside the Honda community, as it did me. I come from more than 25 years of Toyota ownership, and when I was ready to buy another car this drew me in and peaked my interest. The previous Civic Si's never appealed to me, and if I had been shopping for a car in 2015 when the 9th gen was around, I would be in another Camry today, or possibly a used Lexus. I would say that it is only the Manual Transmission that keeps more people away from this car, because if you are looking for something slightly sporty and are looking at the Civic Sports hatch, this for some is a better buy because of the additional power, similar MPG and only slightly higher price it's a no brainer. Most go to the Sports Hatch because of the CVT

I've seen a couple of Si's, not too many though and it's likely several have been repeats. I've mostly seen black, white, or blue (I think the blue one I've seen has been the same person).

Every time I see one ahead of me from far away with those big rear vents, I always go up and check to see if it's an Si. Most often it's a hatch, and every so often I recognize the spoiler and see it's a CTR (which I've seen more of than I expect that I would, but one or two again are local repeaters, one red and one white).

Seeing coupes is rare, but I haven't seen an Si coupe on the street. The only time I've seen one is when my neighbor's friend came over; they work on cars, and the Si coupe driver works at a Honda while my neighbor's cousin works at a Honda as well. Anyway, that's not important information lol.

However, I'm the only one of my kind around here with an Si and Touring LED headlights, and I also have different side markers than others... so boom. :p

SO many base model civics on the road, just the other day I was among 3 other CivicXs at a red light, it was downright weird. I've seen 3 or 4 Si sedans, and 3 Type-Rs, have yet to see an Si coupe since I got mine and it makes me feel speshul

i see a fair amount of civics in the greater Phoenix area - but not that many SI's. And almost no CTR's.
In the last two years I have spotted less than half a dozen Si', and maybe two CTR's.

In Pennsylvania, I've only seen three or four other Sis since I moved here two months ago. About a thousand LX and EXs and a handful of Sports.

I see the SI everywhere. And it's usually just like a middle aged women driving it or something like that. Rarely is it who I would've expected to have picked that trim level.

I have to admit I see A LOT of Civic's on the road here in Vegas. I'd say about 70%-80% are LX's..the next being EX's and I'm pleasantly surprised when I see Civic Sport's. I don't see many Si's or Type-R's out there but it's really cool when one pops up in my rear view mirror! How about you? Do you see many Si's or Type-R's driving down the white lines?
im with you,i live in vegas myself and rarely see SI's. I hope when i do, they aren't super riced out lol. it's a nice car to ruin.

Civics are ubiquitous in Toronto. I don’t see as many Si or Type R obviously. But I generally see more CTR than SI. when I do see a CTR and Si, it’s an event. Such pretty cars. You don’t realize how nice your car is till you see someone else with one
Outside of the ones in the local 10thGenClub, I agree that the 10th Gen Civics are a dime a dozen in the Greater Toronto Area. For every regular 2-300 Civics, there's 1 Si or Type R. Granted that you can see those 2-300 Civics on a half hour drive on the 401, so about one a day of each is not unrealistic. I was the only Si among at least 5 other 10th Gen Civics in my apartment garage. Just recently, someone either moved in or bought a CWP CTR so I see that too daily :)

I see so many LX sedans on the streets. In my apartment complex there is 2 sport sedans, 1 EX sedan, 1 LX sedan. Then to add I am the baller with the Si sedan lol and my wife has her sport hatch.
In my area I do see some Si's running around. Maybe once to twice a month. I rather us be rare then to be all over.

Moved to PA 3 months ago, have seen 2 CTR, 8 Si in different color, my daily commute is always on the same road, 33 miles, so maybe some of them are the same car.

Commuting from PA to MD everyday (40 miles one way), I've only seen a handful (like 3-4) 10th gen Si's since I got mine in June 2017. I think there's one in my town (Silver Si sedan in east york, YOHB?) that I've seen 2-3 times, but other than that one, and the occasional one on the highway (it's never the same one, so they must just be passing through), mine is the only one I ever see.

Here in the San Diego area I almost NEVER see an Si (coupe OR sedan). I see hatches and plain 10th gens everywhere, and I've even seen 5 different CTR's, but the Si isn't common.
