I’m not too sure about that. It’s always been talked about the the hub Dynos read higher thenNot sure what you mean if they're calculated, I assume all figures read by a dyno are to the "wheels"
On a roller style dyno tire diameter affects the drivetrain gearing thus effect drivetrain loss. If you put a car with let’s say a 13” diameter tire on a roller dyno and do a pull and then change the tire diameter to a 26” tire on the same exact car you’ll get different readings between the two because the gearing is now different.Skip to 6:20
