Here in the Bay area and when I travel to LA I see a ton of regular Civics (about as common as Camrys and Corollas), followed by Civics Sports Hatch, and rarely do I see Gen X Si's, and maybe I have seen around three CTR's probably due to them only having a MT option. I suspect you would see more Si's if they offered CVT
Si with a CVT?

Use to never see Si's. Now I see maybe 5 or so a week. (I drive 1000 miles per week)

Si with a CVT?
What I meant was because it only comes in MT, less people buy it. MT among all car sales in the US was less than 3 percent

If it was in the Berryessa or around that area of San Jose and a black Si sedan that was probably me
I followed it off the freeway and it was going up McKee, but it went up past Toyon towards Alum Rock. I'll pay more attention next time.

Whaddayaknow, I saw a 9th Gen Si Coupe'(orange fire pearl) today near Nellis air force base today. Probably only the 2nd or 3rd 9th Gen I've EVER seen. Looked pretty sharp though.

It's weird, we don't see a lot of Si's out on the road but this Si forum is at least half as popular(76,000 Si posts vs. 128,000 Gen Civic posts) as the General 10th Gen forum. Weird because there's probably a ratio of 20-1 in sales.
SI owners would likely be more interested in their cars than other trim level owners. Thus leading to more of them seeking out an online community.

I feel like I see more Type-Rs than Si's. So much for that 'exclusivity' of the Type-R!!! LOL. I saw a plaque the other day on one...they're over 25000+ made and growing!

Unfortunately that was not me. I live near that area but have not been near Toyon in at least a year. One way to identify my car is the aFe Takeda exhaust

And there is a white Si coupe on Toyon, right across the street from where I used to see a CTR all of the time.

Here in the Bay Area I definitley feel like I see more CTR's than Si's. Heck there's two red type R's in the office complex parking lot where I work lol.

I'm in the Bay Area (Fremont area) as well and I've rarely seen any SIs. I have a white SI coupe and I seen more CTRs than SIs. Maybe only seen like 4 total SIs.

Based on everyone's posts there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of Si's out there in population. I see the last gen(#9) was discontinued in 2015 due to lack of sales, is our Gen #10 destined to the same fate?

I believe the 10g Si is a lot more popular than the 9g Si was/is.
