I'm 71 and just bought my Si mid-June. Previously I owned a '15 Corvette. I love my Si. It's a car one has to drive rather than sit in and go along for the ride. The clutch seems a little quirky, but that may be me needing to get used to shifting manually again. OGC? (old geezer car) Maybe so, but not a problem for me.

Don :)
You're right - the seats are amazing in this car! I found out that my suspension felt weird because the idiots at the dealer overfilled 2 of my tires (~45psi) and 2 were normal (32-33psi). I ended up driving 500 miles from Dallas to KC over the weekend and it was a very comfortable drive.
Also 71.

I have the same feeling about the clutch. I was in an '82 VW Scirocco until the '18 Si,

I was used to quick rev drops and clutch engagement.

That said, the VW wasn't smart to drive in today's traffic with semi and big SUV vehicles.

That sucks, but hopefully you are only a couple years from retiring and things can change. I too had an ACR, 3 of them in fact, and the first two new, one sedan single cam, zero option car, and one couple twin cam car that eve had air. I bought one used in 2007 and redone it, engine, trans, etc. Sold it to a good friend in Connecticut who also ran Neons for several years and won a couple of National Championships. Not sure if he still has it or not, but now campaigns a Mustang...
That must be Mark “The Alien” Daddio you speak of...he was prepping a (I think white coupe) for his son? maybe 4 or 5 years ago (but could be longer). He has more National Championships in multiple classes than I have fingers (and probably adding on a few toes, too).

Yup they're pretty great. I have lingering back pain, and a day after using a chainsaw my back was DEAD all day while at work the other week. Time came to leave and I settled into my si seats and the pain instantly vanished. Like settling into orthopedic seats. The 25 minute drive home was equally comfy

I'm 68, and the SI combines the best of every little sports car I've owned over the years. I've had MGB's, Austin Healy Sprites, Triumph TR4A IRS, Alfa Romeo Giulia (1966 model), Corvair Spyder, '65 Mustang Hi Po. I do have a Ktune on mine, but I love it. Probably have it til' the end (mine).

Indeed...the one and only...the one I sold him was red. I think the white one was one of his championship cars. The one I sold him ended up with an SRT 4 drive train...he called me a few years ago and asked if I would be interested in buying it back after the swap, but I had already moved back to Texas, and to pick it up would have been a good sized haul. I had delivered it to him from central KY when he bought it. don't know if he ever sold it or not...

I too am 68 years old with 2019 Si coupe. I plan on keeping this car to the end as well. Guess we'll both be driving 20 year old cars some day.

Bought my Si (Chrystal black) about 2 months shy of turning 64. I guess if there's anything 'geezer' about me is that I am completely satisfied with it being 100% stock. I may look at getting some wheels sometime in the future. That said, I'm open to having my mind changed about mods. Hands down the most all-around, just plain fun car I've ever owned.

Why not ? That' s what I wish all oldgeesers. This car deserves your love.
It is not perfect, of course, but, with the time, we can put it to taste, so
that it better meets our expectations. It is like a long project.
I have had my white coupe for 2 years and I continue to modify it and I love
him more and more...I won' t want to die anymore !
On Monday, I will be delivered 4 Cosmis RT 206 r white wheels.
I cannot wait to drive it. It's very motivating !

51 YO here and loving my '17 Si. I prefer manual transmissions, great handling, and a small, light car. Was a musclecar guy in the past, but I'd much rather have a car like the Si nowadays. I'd have a Type R, but it's too "boyracer" for my taste.

Get into and drive a Si, and it take 20 years off you..

So GREAT if you are in your 50's or 60's -- a little disturbing if you are in your 20's !!

it’s insane to me how many of you are over twice my age (I swear I don’t mean that negatively ). For some reason in my head I always imagined everyone here to be in their 20’s, except for @charleswrivers who has a selfie with his kids in the back lol. I hope my car never gets into a major accident so I can take it out 20+ years down the line

Naw man. Most of us are in various stages of advanced decay. Don't worry... you'll get there.

And hey, I guess that the under 30 set are not the only computer literate people in the world as well since some of us oldsters have figured out how to use this interwebnets thing.

45yo and love the Si. I should’ve gone with my instinct and bought it back in 17 when I bought a new Accord Sport.
