There isn't a specific base map for just the Race MAF, but Hondata does have tuning for it written in the flashpro software. Use any base map you want, then go to Mods in the Flashpro software and turn on tuning for Race MAF.

As far as I know, this is only applicable to the Si. Anyone can download the software and check though.

Bump.

I just flashed the +6psi map on my FK7 Sport CVT and was given the option for the PRL Race MAF scaling. I'm guessing this means that us 1.5T non-Si do have it available.

Question though, my fuel trims still seem more off than they were when I was running the PRL Race MAF scaling on KTuner (averaging between -2.5% to -6.5%, vs. 0% to -1% on KTuner)

Anything I should tweak to make it more consistent?

This was today. Short trims got as high as -12% at one point. This is with the PRL Race MAF mod on the tune.

I'm planning on getting a custom tune, but I want to wait until I upgrade my exhaust system (last performance mod I have planned that would affect a tune)

Keep in mind you want to keep your combined STFT and LTFT within + or - 10.

For example in the pic of the Hondata app, your numbers are -6.25 and -8.59, right? Well, combine them and you get -14.84, definitely high. Maybe the MAF scaling setting needs adjusting?

That's what I'm thinking. I wish KTuner could let me view my tunes after I unlocked it so I could copy their MAF scaling for the PRL Race MAF housing, because that one seemed to work perfectly.

@gtman beautiful, thank you. They are quite different. Is there a way to expand the table cells? Once it gets into the 3 digit figures I can't see the second decimal place.

What a difference. I guess now we know that Hondata's Race MAF scaling does not work on non-Si 1.5Ts.

Just bumping this back up.

My fuel trims have since gone WAY out of whack again for no real reason and it's driving me insane.

I'm gonna mess with the tune a little more to try and figure this out, but on a drive today my LTFT crept as high as -10.12% and STFT would spike between -12% to +12%

I've changed nothing else on the +6psi basemap. Everything on my intake is tight and secure. I'm getting full boost pressure when it engages so I know there's no leaks between the intake and the manifold. It's boggling my mind.

If anyone here had a PRL Cobra with the Race MAF on a non-Si with MAF scaling that works, please advise. My alternative is calling Hondata and begging them to make a pre-set for us non-Si plebs.

@Hondata ?

Just bumping this again for clarity.

I f***ed up. That PRL Race MAF modification is for our cars. If it shows up on your calibration for your ECU, it's meant to be used on your car. In changing the MAF scaling to the one I had in KTuner, I was in fact what was throwing my fuel trims off. There's more variables to the basemaps than just specific values in the MAF scaling graph for them to be interchangeable across platforms.

I've since switched back to the PRL Race mod that comes with the +6psi basemap and all is well. Might tweak it a little more, but it's solved my problem.
