2 weeks since you posted this... Any updates on how it's holding up..
So far so good. When it's hot the bumpers seem to flatten out, but they still absorb the vibrations well and there is no rattle.

Good news!

I had previously brought my car to the dealership and they had told me that because Honda had no published fix for this rattling issue, they wouldnt be able to do anything.

Since then I have been in contact with Honda Customer Support and was assigned a Case manager. Over the past two weeks my Case Manager has been in touch with my dealership and today was my appointment for them to attempt a fix as suggested by the Honda Tech line.

When I went to pick up my car they mentioned that it was a long process, taking over 3 hours for them to do. Unfortunately my service writeup only references my case number and doesn't go into detail regarding the fix. I asked for some more info and they mentioned that when they had first contacted Honda Tech Line support, they were told there wasn't a fix, but then the dealership said they requested the fix again and this time they received an email with what I can assume to be some sort of TSB. I asked what was done and they said they did take apart the whole rear seat to remove the rear deck and then they applied dynamat or "foam tape" as they called it between the rear deck sheet metal and the plastic. I think they also mentioned adding foam specifically to the "lip" area, which I'm assuming is the lip where rear deck meets rear window.

I poked my head up into the trunk and looked around the inside of the cabin around the rear deck, and it looks completely like it did before. But as soon as I turned on my music, i was met with the most beautiful sound. The lack of rattling is amazing! I was concerned that maybe whatever they did would "muddle" or dampen the sound of the subwoofer but I can't say that it has. It sounds very similar to how it did before, except without the rattling. In one song that I tried so far I even noticed extra bass notes in the song that I hadn't previously recognized. It seems that the subwoofer now may be more responsive, but thats probably just a result of the rear deck having more mass and a sturdier foundation for the subwoofer speaker.

I have to say I believe my problem is fixed!

If you are experiencing this issue, please contact Honda Customer support, describe your issue, get assigned a case manager, and then hopefully your case manager can work with your dealer to provide a fix. It took me just under 3 weeks from initially calling Honda Customer Service to setting up this appointment and having a fix applied.
Bad news. It was fairly cool today and the rattle came back. I'm going to ask Honda what my options are now. I will probably end up trying the sorbothane out or I will just buy an aftermarket sub to put in the trunk. Zzz

So I was testing driving the car and I turn the volume up and I asked the employee what's that noice?? He told me that the song had to much bass so that's why it was doing that. So later on during the test drive I decided to put the volume up again and the same thing happen. All that rattling and he said it was part of the song, and that it was to much bass. When I buy the car I'm going to tell them that the people on the forum are having the same problem and that I want it fix.

How loud is the stock subwoofer in the touring supposed to be? I can barely tell it's on. There is hardly any difference going all the way down to max.

I also had the rattling issue for certain songs but now that I put in an aftermarket 10" subwoofer box it rattles like crazy.

So I've been rattle free for about 1 month now, ended up just stuffing a bunch of ept foam behind the 3rd brake light through the trunk but started to get a squeek/rattle from the right rear shelf area, like closer to the rear seat, not audio related. Called honda engineering and they faxed over an 8 page repair for properly doing the sub rattle repair on the rear tray. So i'm assuming a service bulletin will be coming out soon for this. I'm going to have my techs at work to the repairs according to this to see if both noises are fixed. They had said they have had other random noise complaints from the rear shelf after sub rattle noises were fixed(beacuase the use of too much or too thick foam and other insulation materials used). If everything does work I'll work on getting copies of the information. It is nice to know american honda is working on this, but of course it would have been nice for someone to test this all at prior stages of car development with music from the 20th century.

Your right after the dynamat in deck lick and the foam in third brake light in trunk still a rattle if you push down on the plastic in the back window it goes away
I live in a cold place so when it's really cold the plastic gets cold and rattles the back window Honda said they couldn't cover the plastic in back seat in between window because it's illegal to put anything Over the red light
What is the 8 page repair how do the fix the plastic noise from in between the window ?

I'd say for actual music, it fixes it 100% as far as I can tell, but it's only been installed for a few hours and I haven't done a lot of testing, so I'll see how it holds up with different types of music and with more testing over time. There may be a slight vibration still when playing the Subwoofer Test Track, but the track is unrealistically intense in the bass. There is still some buzzing in my front passenger door speakers with the Test Track, but that's a separate issue and isn't noticeable with normal music either. It's worth the $25 or whatever it was and if you know anyone else with a Touring in your area, you can split the cost between 4 people since it comes with 16 bumpers and you really only need 4. I wonder if adding a couple more along the back edge of the rear windshield would provide even better damping. Might be pretty noticeable from the inside though.
