When accelerating does your SI pull to the right or left? I know we have a limited slip diff, but is it still possible that the SI will pull to the right under acceleration?

Check your alignment should go straight unless you are pulling the wheel left or right or on a uneven or sloped surface etc.

Straight here as well under heavy acceleration.

Had a set of new tires put on and now when I accelerate the car pulls to the right. Driving me up a wall.

Check your tire pressure. Maybe they aren’t inflated evenly.

I saw your other thread about the same subject. Did they align the car after the tires were put on?

I was pretty sure that all vehicles pull slightly to the right for safety reasons. Like if you fall asleep at the wheel instead of drifting to the left into oncoming traffic you go right. Let me know if I'm wrong

No, I don’t think so. The car doesn’t appear to be out if alignment when coasting or at cruising speeds, but when I accelerate at 50% plus throttle it starts to pull right enough that noticeable.

Check your tire pressure. Maybe they aren’t inflated evenly.
I did this too and low and behold the rear driver side tire was at 25psi. Adjusted that and it corrected the steering resistance, but still pulls right at 50% plus throttle it still starts to pull right.

Very frustrating considering I baby the car, aim for good mpgs and don’t drive it everyday.

I’m starting to think it’s just the torque steer along with the all season tires that is causing the car to pull right.

I’ve been testing this all different ways. Cruising the car goes straight. When I throttle down it pulls right. This happens while barely touching the wheel allowing the car to stay straight or pull.

Thanks for anyone that’s chimed in. This has been driving me nuts all day.

Bruh i got my car aligned TWICE and it still pulls to the right. I can easily go 100mph and hold my wheel straight, but i believe that the steering wheel is not centered which is causing it to go right.... I bought my car back 3 times for the 2nd alignment to no resolution. Pretty annoyed lol

Your car can drive straight at cruising speeds and still be out of alignment. If the toe is straight but your caster/camber is out it will drive straight, when you hammer down it changes the geometry of the suspension and caster and camber can play more of a factor. Or if the toe is out evenly on both sides you won't feel it until under a load. Alignments aren't expensive compared to the wear it's going to do on tires and other parts.

Then take it somewhere else. They are obviously not doing it right. You need a good front end tech doing it.
