Clutchmasters has had a few folks where it hits or rubs on the transmission.A miss adjusted CMC would either keep the pressure plate from fully engaging causing slippage or will cause it to not disengage fully making it difficult to go into gear, but after looking at the pictures, installation error for sure.
A miss adjusted CMC will not cause the pressure plate face to contact the transmission bell housing. It looks like it might not even be the correct pressure plate for the application...I mean look at the picture lol theres actual contact where you can see the white paint from the pressure plate transfer over to the housing.
Also don't worry about being able to fully release the clutch and having the car move forward without gas input, on a level ground. The lighter flywheel makes the idle enough to keep the car from stalling if the surface is level, if you dont experience slipping or odd resistance going into gear, everything should be fine, assuming the second install goes fine.
Goodluck!
