A miss adjusted CMC would either keep the pressure plate from fully engaging causing slippage or will cause it to not disengage fully making it difficult to go into gear, but after looking at the pictures, installation error for sure.

A miss adjusted CMC will not cause the pressure plate face to contact the transmission bell housing. It looks like it might not even be the correct pressure plate for the application...I mean look at the picture lol theres actual contact where you can see the white paint from the pressure plate transfer over to the housing.

Also don't worry about being able to fully release the clutch and having the car move forward without gas input, on a level ground. The lighter flywheel makes the idle enough to keep the car from stalling if the surface is level, if you dont experience slipping or odd resistance going into gear, everything should be fine, assuming the second install goes fine.

Goodluck!
Clutchmasters has had a few folks where it hits or rubs on the transmission.

I appreciate it! That is also what LilToTo17 has been telling me. We had adjusted the CMC for a few hours to no avail. I did get into contact with Clutch Masters and they confirmed that the kit was working within their specification. They also did confirm that the Presssure Plate can actually make contact with the housing. Here is a quote from Clutch Masters themselves "The 1.5T bell housing are super tight so we have had a few customers have the pressure plate kiss the ribs of the housing. It will not effect or cause any effects on the housing or clutch kit since it barely makes any contact."

I sure hope this all gets figured out! The shop is being very careful this time! They found out that the Pressure Plate is actually hitting the housing just barely and they are sanding it down so it does not hit

sanding down a pressure plate is a bad idea.

They're not sanding the pressure plate face just a small spot so that the transmission housing does not get scraped up more

Clutch masters said its ok that it barely touches? It shouldn't make contact period...how is that acceptable...holy crap, and this is clutch masters ffs lol...I hope they don't take off a lot of material from the pressure plate cover, that whole thing spins with the flywheel and is balanced, if any material is removed, it might not be balanced any more and will vibrate everything to death.

Yeah they say it is okay...The engineer in me is yelling that they need to rework that part of the design because it is too big even if it is only barely. The pressure plate was was already going to get all scraped up from hitting the housing so might as well prevent it from doing that. It should only be a very minimal amount that gets removed and I would rather have vibration than a cracked housing

Yeah this whole dilemma has not been pretty. I think our only option left is Eman but you'll probably have to wait a bit to get the clutch kit from him

I just leave my TSP Stage 1 tune at level one now, too much slip even at the second level.
haven't slipped in level 1 ever, so will just bide my time until a real solution is found...might just get an upgrade CMC in the meantime JIC

I don't do social media, so if he doesn't have a store-front, that's not an option...

I got my car back today! It looks like the issue has been resolved (hopefully for good) The car goes into gear without a problem, no more moving when I'm in gear, and the pedal actually feels lighter!!! So far I'm loving how it drives!!!!

Pedal shouldn't feel lighter lol than stock. Stock is already extremely light
