Trying to make my next mod an Intake. I'm between Mishimoto and PRL. What do you have in your fk7?

I will be going with the PRL Cobra, especially after reading all the reviews on them!

Anything but Injen or other bad reputation intakes. There is someone selling one right now who asked me to edit my post mentioning the MAF skew and need for custom tuning.

Still bashing people I see. I had an injen intake on mine for 11k miles and nothing happened to mine. No tune, no issues. I can’t say anything about the people that track theirs. But I just daily drive mine and never tracked it and it worked perfectly for me. All the YouTube videos you see, is everybody trying to get more views and when one person says it, it must be true right?!? Haha!! that’s how you get a lot of hate on a brand. #Internet

Dude again you own a Si not a type R. The threads you linked too are for Si and hatch the 1.5 engine. You are bashing on a product in other threads that is for a totally different car and set up. You need to get your facts straight.
*drops mic and walks away* Hahaha!!

You're fully aware how dumb this post is right? The Injen is proven to be hit or miss. Some people tuned, who track their cars have not had fuel trim issues. Other people have. The product is inconsistent. Therefore you are much better off spending an extra $100 on the PRL intake that has R&D and hundreds of datalogs behind it proving the fuel trims are consistent and keeps IATs lower.

Just because you drove yours and the intake was fine doesn't mean anything. If you're stock you clearly weren't monitoring your vehicle to see if anything was off.

Did you monitor your LTFT? STFT? AFR?
Datalog a WOT? Datalog a long drive?
