I have the 2019 Ridgeline RTL-E and bought a 2019 R a year later. I love both of them. Good choice on the Ridgeline and color (mine is white also). It's the most comfortable truck I've ever been in.

Have an 3G MDX here, great daily and comfortable highway cruiser. There are some shared components with the Ridgeline and the MDX. Honestly I think the Ridgeline is as comfortable. Interior (save for the new infotainment) looks so similar you’d not even know which one your in.

that sucks you have to sell it due to your work.

You gotta do what you gotta do though. Everyones got different necessities and priorities. Enjoy the new ridgeline.

I’ll still make YouTube videos, hahaha! I work on my boys R all the time. I’ll try to get some exciting videos of our C&C meets and Ridgeline.

Sad to see you sell it, but I understand why. Those are some deep bolstered seats and getting in and out 30 times a day can be a pain in the ass.

Nice job in staying in the Honda family, though. Did you get hosed on your trade in?

Yeah these seats stress me out getting in and out of with the bolsters. My fiancée has an even harder time being 4'11". She cannot stick her foot out and touch the ground getting out lol. I am getting clearbra on my rocket panels next week.

Well guys I did it, I’m saying goodbye. I might get a lot of hate for this but it was a much needed change. I had a 2019 CTR that I daily drove for work. I drove for 8 hours, getting in and out of the car more than 30+ times a day. It was starting to kill my back, well I always had lower back issues and it just made it worse. The R was a great car. I got to meet a lot of awesome people and got a lot of praises for it everywhere I went. But my job is what killed it for me. I was always on this 50/50 chance of trading it in. I always worried what kind of places will I be driving to. City or highway roads? Gravel or muddy roads? Up and down mountain unpaved roads? Everytime I drove somewhere for work and my gps says turn onto, I look at the road and I’m like here we go again... So, I made up my mind. I enjoyed the R while I had it. I put about 11k miles since feb 2019. I installed a injen intake and aFe exhaust on it. Now, it’s coming off and being sold. I ended trading it for a 2019 Ridgeline RTL-T AWD. Which for me, made more since. And hey I kept it in the Honda family still. LOL!! I drove it for two full days for work, and all I can say is I don’t regret it one bit. I don’t worry now about where I’m going. And plus the little things add to my comfort like “adjustable lumbar support”. Hahaha!! I’m going to miss the CTR a lot. I hope I don’t get too much hate for this post. A lot of you guys helped me a lot when I had questions about my R and I really want to thank you all!

Also have a 2019 Ridgeline and a Type R, great combo!

To me, it sounds like the back stuff was an excuse instead of saying you got caught up in the hype. I drove the CTR 1k miles the day I got it and it didn't bother me one bit. And I do suffer from lower back pain as well. Hell, I can go as far as to say it's more comfortable than my ergo chair at work. To each his own though. Glad to hear you stayed with another Honda made vehicle. Enjoy!

 seriously man? He clearly stated his reasoning for wanting to switch up and it makes perfect sense. Are you getting in and out of your car 30+ times a day?

Serious lol. Who in the hell in their right mind would buy this car to drive it 8 hours per day "getting in and out 30+ times" and assume it'll be okay? I guess I don't believe everything damn thing I read on the internet. Folks need to not post on internet if they can't take any sort of disagreement or criticism. Geez
