Hi everyone,

I checked the forums and apparently I'm not the only one to have this issue, but lately the headunit on my 2016 Touring has been randomly beeping, going back to the main menu and other unwanted behavior. I talked to Honda, they told me to go to a service center, went to two different ones. They both told me that if they can't recreate it they can't do much. Since the car has to be driving in order for this to happen and they obviously wont drive the car they just tried to reset the headunit but the issue is still happening.

Honda is basically saying keep taking it to service centers until someone fixes it. So I'm kinda stuck as to what to do get this repaired.

Was just wondering if anyone has any idea on what to do.

Thanks!

I had random beeping and screen changes the other day. I turned down the sensitivity of the touch screen and haven't had any issues since. Maybe that will work for you.

Service recently did a software update to mine, but the only issue I’ve ever had was Bluetooth turning itself off...

Did it work? That worked for me.

If not, ask if one the dealer if one of the techs wouldn't mind driving your car for a day or two to see if they can reproduce the issue.
I tried it and so far the glitch hasn;t happened, but I'm waiting to see few more days before I can be sure its gone.

Thanks!
