because it's not even worth their time to mold something like that. I wouldn't. You could literally go to the hardware store and buy some window molding for 10-20$ and DIY. If you cry and say it's too harsh, then remove it. The gaps are small AF. I don't even know what the big deal is, but i guess everyone's different and got their own opinion of NVH. Just go buy the HASPORT and be done w/ it.
It's crazy to me, this topic got 18 pages. But, I guess i'm contributing to that
all of the poly mount videos are showing what i would consider to be the same as a fully solid mounted setup. That shit doesnt fly on a daily driver and if it does, props to you. i bought the R to be a comfy daily that is fun to drive, i've got a ruined racecar for racecar things...

I don't think I missed this question, but will a stiffer mount really be needed with the traction control option now available from Hondata?

it SHOULDNT be but there's a fair number of us keeping stock tunes that could use the mechanical advantage but would like to not have the dash shake apart.

Quick review of @27WON

Overall product:
This mount is significantly beefier than the stock motor mount. The mount has a poly insert on the motor side and a fixed non poly on the chassis side.

Install:
The removal of the stock motor mount was extremely easy. I had watched multiple videos on how to install the aftermarket motor mount. Some things that were missing as a quick tip. After removing the stock mount. The motor drops a few millimeters. This slight drop made it impossible to install the 27 WON mount without a struggle. Key advice, take a low profile jack and jack up the motor just a hair. This would would you line up both end points on the motor mount.

Initial reaction:

The very first start up WOW! The car VNH sounded like I had install 3 inch catless straight on the exhaust. On a scale of 1-10, the cabin noise went from 0 on stock to 10+ with this mount. You can feel the vibration through your seat, steering wheel, and dash. You can also see the hood vibrate at a stop! The initial drive, anything over 5k sounded like was shooting a Desert Eagle. The buzzing and drone effect was almost unbearable. I did a hard pull of the line and the wheel hop was definitely smoother/non-existent. The second gear pull was way smoother than stock.

I only have 50 miles on it right now and it definitely improved over the initial VNH!

After a couple thousand miles I felt my full throttle first to second shifts were somewhat too aggressive (could be feel only). I lifted the car up to check if perhaps my pitching stopper bolts were loose. They were not but I was wondering if this wear and tear is normal or a quality issue?

That’s the second Cusco one I’ve seen falling apart.

Same here, I need to lift up my car and see if my 27WON rmm is holding up after 5000+ miles.
x2, I’ve had my Hasport for close to 10,000 but not even worried with a company like Hasport.

I’ve seen someone’s 27won bushings rip. I have hasport. I chose them simply because they’ve been making mounts for over 20 years probably. Not saying everyone’s perfect though.

My cusco mount is doing the same shit, for dam near $300 dollars for a mount you would think it would hold up a little better lol. I'm going to get a replacement and sell it and switch to the 27won.

I paid $175 shipped from Rakuten :). They responded to me as well, sounds like I am getting a replacement. I also ordered the hasport one and will put that one on next to see the difference.
