Get a new knob. The OEM one sucks.

I have a really nice looking Raceseng red shift knob and it sometimes, not that often, gets hot as well, I have a microfiber towel next to it to clean the screen, dash, seats, etc. I just toss it on top of the shift knob if it’s too hot too handle when I first get in the car, pretty easy solution.

I should add that having a microfiber towel close at hand is a necessity with the Si, it can clean up the infotainment screen, the seats, other interior parts, dash, etc. and as stated previously help, out with a hot shifter.

I have my microfibre in my driver door pocket just for this purpose. Also good for swatting tiny flies bouncing on the windshield and dash

I call bullshit on it "branded" into your palm. Sound like a entirely fabricated story. Does the shift knob get hot and burn? Fuck yeah! My Skunk2 gets blazing hot. But BRANDED the numbers into my palm? No fucking way.. are you a sadomasochistic and held onto it for a long time? And "fotos" wont show it? Cool story bruh.

Skunk 2 Racing weighted shift knob plus all white toddler (6 month) socks extra cushion from Wallmart / 10 pack less than $7. Works perfect. All jokes aside I grabbed that metal shift knob one day and would guess 130 plus degrees EASY.

Ha! I literally have been using my 8month olds sock on my Skunk2 stainless knob! It definitely helps some but damn it still gets hot!

I have a can coozie for a Red Bull can that I put over mine, helps, but isn’t great, maybe I’ll double bag it...

I looked at the same knob and I was wondering how hot the black carbon would get. Is it noticeably cooler?
Yes it's a lot cooler, it gets hot but not like the stock knob and doesn't burn my hand and cools off quick
