me now have SI

took my lx speed hatch for service today came home with an SI coupe in black.
my lease is up in a few months so i decided to see if my dealer would give me extra savings above the current lease offers. they basically gave me enough extra off to match my last payment with in 15 bucks, or 15 bucks less than the current lease offer. the hatch held it value nicely i expect the SI to do as well. this is my last new car purchase i will make in my life time i'm 67 now and by the time i have this fully paid off i might have turned in my DL ha ha .

first impressions are, drives far better than the hatch lx, power delivery wise much smoother transitions to higher gears. actual power does not seem any better than the hatch, the hatch feels just as fast. i said feels not is. they may have filled it with regular? the sound from the stereo is very good, and i haven't even played with it yet, the pioneer i had in the hatch will have to find someplace else to go.
very happy with this upgrade so far, its only been an hour.

up date oh yah its quicker, just don't feel it because it delivers the power better, least thats what i think.

Congrats I have a black 18 Si Coupe I’m very pleased with it, good choice you will enjoy it I have no doubt. For $400 and extra fun throw in the Ktuner that’s all you need.

I typically don’t care for black cars, but in the case of the Si and coupe I think it looks very sexy in black. Just keep it clean and waxed. Congrats man!
