Need help Identifying this piece, My foot keeps scuffing it. Driving me nuts. Trying to get some sort of protection

So you want to replace it or protect it with something? Don't bother replacing, it's what it's for. I'd be more worried about the paint beneath it, as that gets scratched easily

Just get some door sill scuff plates on Ebay. There are tons available.

They sell covers for that piece.

My foot doesn’t hit it, but the Honda mechanics and other service guys do. I’ll be taping off this black plastic piece whenever I take it in for service. Or I may ask my detailing shop to clear wrap this area, just as the rest of the door sills are
