Hi everyone. I paid $1,100 for the 7-year/100k mile Honda Care extended warranty. I've had the car just over 2 years, and have less than 10k miles on it. If I were to cancel and get a pro-rated refund, I estimate it would be be about $770.
I was not considering cancelling my extended warranty until the news came out that Honda was extending the powertrain warranty to 6-year/unlimited warranty on the 1.5L engine models due to the fuel dilution issue. I know I would lose out on that 7th year, but the refund amount is pretty high and the warranty does me no good until after the 6th year due to the extension from Honda.
My main questions are:

My main questions are:
- Is there any other benefit to keeping Honda Care on top of powertrain coverage? I feel like that covers most of the bigger components but do not know what I may be losing coverage on.
- Is there an official bulletin from Honda on this extension? I can't find much other than articles from car and consumer websites that all say nearly the same things. I haven't received a notice from Honda (but not sure that I would as I moved out of state shortly after buying the car.) I'd like to make sure I am covered by the extension before canelling.
- Would you cancel if you were me? That money seems better off in savings but I would consider keeping the coverage depending on what others have to say.
