I've got a 2017 Civic Si sedan. Havent had an issue with it yet. it's got 36000 kms on it.

Started it up this morning and the check engine light came on then it gave the following warnings.

Emissions System Problem
Brake System Problem
Brake Hold System problem
Power Stearing System (EPS)Problem
Vehicle Stability Assist System (VSA) Problem
Hill Start Assist Problem.

The only thing I've had done to the car since I bought it was the vehicle recall work on the ECU.

I'm not sure if I should drive it.

Anyone else see anything like this before? Seriously WTF?

Thanks
Craig

I had this happen to me. But it’s been after driving really hard and I just had to let the engine cool down. Do you have an OBD reader? What’s the code?

I had this happen to me after lowering on D2 springs. After taking the wheels off and checking multiple times, I noticed the speed sensor was cracked and causing all this. Ordered replacement with dealership since I was in a rush but found cheaper options online. All codes cleared after.

See that's the weird part. I would expect something like this if I was driving it hard but I had just came out this morning to get in it after it had been sitting all night. It couldnt get anymore cooled down than it was.
I dont have an OBD reader but I think I'm going to have to go get one.

Can’t go wrong with an OBD reader. I got a Bluetooth one off of amazon for like $16. Paired with the car scanner app it’s great! It tells me what the codes mean.

You didn’t disconnect the battery for any reason did you? I know when the battery is reset for doing any type of work to the car it will cause a bunch of faults on the initial startup. You have to drive it around to make them go away

In the states most auto parts stores will scan your codes for free. You may want to check for something like that before buying one.

As others have said, get a code reader and find out what codes they were throwing.

Bad or almost bad batteries can cause all manner of issues. I thought the starter was going in our CRV. I replaced the battery and boom issue solved.

I definitely second checking out the battery. Check the resting voltage after it sits all night.

Dude, I got the exact same problem a week ago. I just opened the fuel tank cap and used emergency fuel fill funnel to fiddle with the auto shutoff valve and the problem disappeared

For what it's worth, I had this happen to my '14 Accord. I happened to be at a light that had a Honda dealership there so I drove it in. It was a bad battery...went out less than 2 years after purchasing so it was covered under warranty. It took them like 5 minutes to diagnose in the service drive.

Please let us know what you find out.

Hey all, thanks for all the replies on this. I wanted to let you know I took it to the dealership this morning and they came back with the following:

Cause: road tested confirm all lights on and can feel misfire at idle. scan found codes P0302 misfire #2 cylinder, u0401-68 ecm failure, u0416-88 vsa system malfunction.

So it turned out that the misfire in cylinder #2 was the cause of all the warning lights. They claim to have replaced all the fuel injectors, and cross over fuel pipe and they also did a valve adjustment. So far so good no more lights.

The other issue I had were the brakes shuttering at high speeds. they found that the rotors were out of round and had excessive run out. They resurfaced the rotors to correct.

Thanks again for all the input. I'm loving this site!

Thanks
Craig

Rotors warped? How many miles you have on the car and do you drive & brake aggressively
