That when on a very hot day with the AC is on full blast when you say "Hey Siri" the Honda lowers the AC airflow about 70% so that the microphone can hear your voice more clearly.

And since with CarPlay you tend to use Siri a lot, especially at the start of a trip when you tend to speak "take me to 100 Smith Street" and "play Top Hits Radio" and answer a few texts, it means you can't get maximum air thrust at the very moment you need it when you first enter a very hot car.

WTF
Your logic makes no sense. How tf would you expect it to hear you with a that background fan noise?? Theres a reason the software engineers included this handy piece of code. Otherwise you'd have much bigger issues then a little discomfort...

Maybe just nitpicking and it took me a few months to put my finger on it, but the 10th gen Civic (at least on my hatchback), have a significant blind spot by the C pillar. also, when raining heavily, the rear camera tend to catch a droplet that blocks a portion in the display.

My logic makes complete sense. I'd rather be cool and have to raise my voice than be hot and talk in a regular voice.

The choice should be mine. That's the point. Honda shouldn't assume that everyone would prioritize speaking voice volume over coolilng fan speed.

No you make no sense, the lowering of the AC for a second does not make everything hot instantly, also I don't see you advocating for CHOICE, all I see is you saying you want it your way.

Like I said, you'd have much bigger problems. It cannot hear you with the fan on high. Yeah, touche.

So I guess this thread is for people to answer the question stated in the OP. Just to have another shit on your statement with their unwanted opinions? It's too bad, I am sure it was not the intention of OP.
Congratulations, you played yourself. What you said applies seems to apply to you, no one gives a flying dam about the internals unless you decide to mod the sh** out of an engine the size of your milk carton. I just voiced my opinion too, I did not mean to bash on you.

The clutch! It bites at the front, still havent been able to adjust to it yet. Also, the damn rev hang made it harder, fortunately eliminated that with Ktuner TSP Stage 1.

You don't have a Touring so you don't understand.

I have several BMW's for the past 4 years with CarPlay, with noisy AC fans and, guess what, the microphones hear what I say just fine.

The Civic is my 3rd owned car with CarPlay, somewhere around the 6th I've experienced considering loaners and rentals, and to date its the only one that turns the AC fans from 10 to 3 just to hear me speak. Not something I was expecting, so it makes my 'hate' list.

I considered the question in relation to my expectations when I purchased the Civic. Example: Did I buy a Honda, or an Acura or Lexus? So, after 10,000 miles, including a 3000 mile + road trip, here is my No. 1 gripe...

No lumbar support. That is my biggest gripe. Info unit has issues, it's a little noisy on the highway ('18 Touring) and I'm not thrilled with the CVT, although I love the 1.5 turbo. But for what I got for the money, no lumbar support is my complaint. And, since I'm not alone on this forum with that complaint, I think Honda should look at it.

Our 18' odyssey does so to when making phone calls, I find it really handy. Back in our old minivan I'd have to constantly adjust fan speed if someone called. But to each their own I guess
