I didn’t feel like the rev hang is any worse in any of the other modes.
Weird, I definitely feel it in the timing of my shifts. Shifting feels natural and smooth to me in Sport and +R. In Comfort, it's a little like my '14 Si where I have to wait for the revs to start dropping. Probably an efficiency/emissions thing.

You have to push the gas pedal harder in Comfort mode because the throttle is a lot less touchy, but that’s about it IMO. Either that or feather the clutch a little more.

Sorry to bump an old thread. I was doing Sport for the most part but have been really enjoying +R for DD. I have a 20mi each way trip to and from work and minimal traffic most of the time. For those who DD theirs and use +R, what RPM range are you shifting at?

When you only go 5 feet evey 10 minutes and are avoiding pot holes, it is comfort mode all the way to and from work.

3500, for DD usage in R+. If it turns into stop and go traffic, I usually flip to Comfort because it's a lot smoother to handle at 0-20mph.

For everyday driving I generally shift between 2600-3000. Spirited, a but higher.. lol

For everyday normal driving I’m shifting between 2500-3000 RPM, though I’ll do 3500 every so often. If something opens up I may push to 4500-5500.

Comfort for DD/Saving Gas as I have throttled response mproved with torque limited to 200. Great for city cruising and saves a bunch of gas lol.

Type R rest of the time and almost never sport

Mom assuming torque limitation is through a custom tune?

you don't need a custom tune but you do need a tuner like ktuner or hondata.
just change the values on your torque target in comfort mode to whatever you want to cap it at and the bosch ecu does the rest.

My daily so it is in comfort most of the time; unless I am at a red light and I know my lane merges so I put it in Sport for a bit more oomph hehe. I recently had my stock tires put back on so I have yet to hit the curvy back roads in +R.
