Hey, straight noob here when it comes to buying wheels.
I want to upgrade my current stock wheels to Enkei TS10. However, I saw on the website there is a 40mm and 50mm offset, I am not sure which one I should choose. Moreover, I am running 215/45ZR18 for my tire size, will this be a proper fitment? There is two option for the wheel brand, either Continental Extreme Contact or Michelin PS A/S 3+. Which one would you guys recommend? Is it mandatory for me to do alignment? Would appreciate for answering all my questions.

The stock 18-inch wheels on the Sport and Sport Touring are 8 inches wide with a 50mm offset. Either offset will work on the EX, but if you're looking for a more flush look, the 40mm would be what you want.

As far as tire size, stock for the 18-inch hatchs is 235/40/18. The 215/45/18's you mention will work, but would give you a less aggressive look. Depends on what you like really. Neither setup should rub on stock suspension, or even lowered with something like a set of Eibach Pro-kit or Sportline lowering springs.

If you don't touch anything on the suspension, and just change wheels and tires, there shouldn't be a need to get an alignment.

You can play around with different setups for comparison on this site:

If you're going with 18's just use 235/40/18's. If you're using tire rack it will recommend 215 so just change your civic model to sport touring and it will give the stock size tires that those use. I was really close to going with 18's but the roads here have been awful so i just ended up with 17's.

@arsh88 if I choose 235/40/18 for my wheels and I want to install eibach pro kit, will there be any rub? Or I should stick with 215s?

I have ran that tire size on 18 x 8 wheels with 35mm offset, and lowered on Eibach Sportlines, with no rub whatsoever.

From what I’ve heard it’ll be fine since the diameter is near identical to 17s. Really my decision on 17s over 18s is due to sidewall height (1/2” more) not wheel diameter
