Yeah I think Honda knocked it out the park with the tenth gen civic design. If you are spinning at the launch then it will mess up your timing. Also is your traction control off when you launch it?
I haven't done it with the bigger wheels..it was when I had the lightweight hybrid ilx wheels on there

isn't there a way to set your CVT to be more in the power band? I thought I heard of a setting like that (sorry, I have a manual)

I did use octane 93 today but it made no difference, also my altitude should be higher than mount Everest for my times to drop almost 30%
Elevation can make a huge difference. The guys at The Fast Lane Car test cars at high elevation. They generally get times that are quite a bit slower (20-25%) than something like the times published by C&D. Where are you located?

Still though, my elevation is 310 feet, nothing extreme.

I think people are doing 1/4 miles with cvt in L. (I'm not positive either, but it sounds familiar)

OP, if you're at only 310ft. we can rule out elevation.

L tends keep things in the powerband and is especially quick in the turbo models. I don't know if the 2.0 works the same.

Have you had the dealer look at your car in terms of it running so sluggishly? 10-11 seconds for your model is ridiculously slow.

The only way to test it out to see if you are losing power is on a dyno.

I finally took it to the track again for a final test, the results were once again dissapointing.
Before the tune and the installation of the aem CAI, I had marked the exact spot where I would hit 100mph consistently.
My speed at this exact spot today came to an average of 101.7(and this time I was 2-rooting it for better launch), well within the margin of error.
So not only is the car slower than it should be stock, but the performance "upgrades" don't seem to make any difference either.

EDIT: It sounds much better though

Like the poster above said, don't launch it. You may want to go back to stock and test that out. Or try your tune with the stock intake. Also post your datalog here so we can see what this issue might be.

Could be the CVT is slipping so it doesn't take the abuse from all them launches.
