Delivered car to the shop to fix a bunch of things:
- Front sensors screaming every time it rains
- Rattle/Noise from AC that passes into the cabin
- Rocks/chips that gathers up around the brakes
- Oillamp that suddenly appeared during drive in Germany.
- Wheel is not 100% centered. To drive straight I have to turn slightly left
- Buggy software on mirrors when folded in and doors locked.
- High pitch sound from tranny on 6th gear.

Got a Civic sport with 10k on the miles to borrow meanwhile... First thing I noticed is A-pillar rattle and the skin on the wheel was deformed.

My conclusion is simple... The general build quality on 10th gen civic is crap... No wonder they shut down the UK.

I concur. Build quality is subpar on my CTR. Missing screws in the wheel well, bumper held together by zip tie on one side, keyless entry sensor (inside door handle) disconnected on the day of delivery, so it came like that from the factory? There’s just no pride in building a halo car from that factory. Shut it down. The earlier the better.

The carbon parts are a bit pricy since thy are actual CF; they run 800 (though can be found around 700). The knob is 180.

Edit: added links to College Hills Honda. They may not be the lowest price available. JPUSA also sells these parts as well as many other 3rd parties.
Good call on both those parts they look great, I have the same and love how they look. Anyone trying to get parts I would recommend asking your dealer and see what price they can get you. I got the CF pieces for under $500 and my wife got me the shift knob for < $160, I also got a good deal on the visors and cargo net and I just got the Meister type R watch for $190 last week. There might be better deals out there.
Some of us might not trust our local dealers because of the mark ups but you can have some luck and find an enthusiast at the parts department that can get you a deal.

Wait till it's made in Ohio ;) Those people barely can count the alphabet (pun) much less look at a diagram and operate a machine at the same time...

Man, you think that’s bad? My Focus ST had overspray on the rear bumper, a completely different color interior panel (tan when everything else was black) no Bluetooth mic, a missing exhaust hanger, screws missing from various dash panels, and more. It was crazy. My first and only ford.

Installed several upgrades to the stock audio. This included the centre speaker upgrade to the jlc2350x as well as replacing the stock sub with a kenwood unit along with lc2i and a p300x1 amp.

Where I usually listened to music at about 20, now I can listen at half that and actually get meaningful bass output. Super impressed with the results. This is what the stock output should have been from the factory in what is sold as a premium audio setup.

Got car from the shop after one day.
- Rattle from dash, completely gone. Car feels like new
- They've sent notice to Honda for replacement of AC pump to get rid of the noise that comes into the cabin from the enginebay.
- Also sent a note to Honda for replacing grill and parksensors.

For now it looks like all the things that has been annoying me, will be fixed :)

Mind sharing where you got the Honda carbon pieces for 500? I want them but not at 7-800

My local dealer, there’s a few guys working there that I got to talk too when I would go to see the CTRs they got in or when I would go buy parts. I work 2 blocks from the dealer so I went to see the CTR in every color that they got. I was surprised when he told me how much for the red CF interior. I’ve bought quite a few things from them for my wife’s Pilot and for my CTR and they’ve always been cheaper than other places. Not every worker will be willing to give you a discount but most will, just ask them how low they can go.
