40 mpg in a Si tuned?

Yep, I did it this morning. Averaged 40.3 mpg on the interstate with a lil traffic. All while being on tsp stage 1 tune with prl Cai and downpipe.

Pretty cool to have a sports car with 40 mpg.

I don't know how you do it dude. I'm currently averaging about 22 street driving and 26 or 27 hwy. I'm not driving it any harder than I normally do. My last trip from LA a few weeks ago I was averaging about 37 mpg on the hwy. I'm about 30 percent on the MM, maybe it's because I'm getting closer to oil change time...

Not sure if it's due to better summer gas or the ktuner, but I'm now showing 33 mpg with a mix of highway, town, and back-roads. Up from around 30 about a month ago. Could also be due to the engine breaking in since it has less than 3K miles on it.

I'm always in Sport Mode with Traction Control off. I get 32mpg while not even trying to be conservative. It's nice to see I can probably get better.

It’s hard for me I’m always in map 3 and drive pretty hard so I’m stuck on 33...

Which is way better than my GTI but I put 87 in the GTI so probably around a wash...

I've been at 41.3mpg for a few weeks now. I do alot of commuting mainly highway. Also on Ktuner stage 2 with abunch of quick enables, enabled lol

I nearly hit 50 MPG once on a trip from Toronto to Ottawa, and made it halfway back. Hondata +9 tuned.

On the way there, I was met with traffic, some city driving and mildly spirited country roads. On the way back, it was more relaxed highway cruising. All in all, 650kms (400 miles), with it showing a remaining range of 50kms (31 miles) before I decided it's better not to risk running out of fuel in the middle of the night, than to hit 700kms on a single tank. Below picture is with the units converted for my Stateside friends

If I had similar conditions going there as I had coming back, I could have been creeping up on 500 miles to the tank.

You wont see that unless your on the highway most of the time still impressive numbers and it can be done. I drive short distances and average 29. My ride to work is less then 7 miles each way.

Did my first commute on TSP Stage 1 on map 2 and did 40.2 mpg today. My round trip commute is 110 miles and about 95% interstate driving, but did hit some stop and go traffic for about 10 minutes. I was very pleased as this is less than 1 mpg off of what I was averaging.

I am not tuned but this car is awesome on gasoline consumption. These are full tank numbers and not just rolling down the hill in neutral for a screen shot.

I came from a Lexus CT200h. Was trying to see if I could get the same MPG but drive a much funner car.

Curious what speed people are cruising at when they are getting their mileage number? Cruising along at 65 can make a big difference vs doing 75.

I can't do better then 26.4 mpg. So jelly
