Anyone has HKS IC with piping can chime in and share your first hand experience?
I am choosing between HKS and PRL..
I already have full PRL bolt on for my hatch sport.
Thinking to go HKS this time.please let me know

I think there are other post already for this. HKS looks good definitely something I would go with myself.

Great bit of kit, really well made. A little time consuming to install if your doing it on your own but well worth it.

Thanks for the pictures...
I am thinking to powder coat the pipe in red for aesthetics reason.
My question is.. does it even show up in engine bay??

No worries, nope completely pointless as the airbox sits on top so you wouldn’t be able to see it. Only thing I probably would have done is wrap it in gold reflective tape

Thanks, then i will save myself some money on powder coating it but dei gold wrap is good idea to reflect the heat and keep the charge air cool.

I dont like the gold color but if the airbox is on top of it then i will be ok because i wont see the gold.

There is reflective silver tape as well that would be much less noticeable

I will be going with HKS over PRL because HKS uses a tube and fin design rather than bar and plate.

For anyone who has installed the HKS IC....does the kit reuse all the factory bolts/hardware and o-ring. The box mine came in is completely empty. Thanks.

What reasons made you choose HKS over others? I'm currently in a dilemma of what products to go, prl mishimoto prl so many choices I'd like to get some personal reviews by ppl who have these products and why they picked it

My response wasn't directed towards you but just generally for those reading since the HKS intercooler is tube and fin.

If an o ring is involved, I’d recommend using a new one. I’m waiting for my HK intercooler to arrive.
