If you know business operations, have been a CEO, built or ran small to over $1B operations like I have - never blame the suppliers when dealing with end customers. It has nothing to do with the customer. It’s YOUR problem as a company making the final product. I you have bad suppliers - change them. I you can’t control or properly manage your operations - get ready to be fired.
This shit happens all the time in this niche segment of auto aftermarket for years and continues to be so. These are tiny little companies (less than $1M-$5M) who have founders and entrepreneurs who most of the time are running a “lifestyle” business...ala profits fund their lifestyles. Unfortunate but that’s the fact since I do private equity investments and venture investments.
I’ve been back and forth with them on IG/FB for some R&D discussions. Emails go unanswered, and I read this thread. It’s all symptoms of a small business that has yet to learn how to be a real business.
Don’t blame the suppliers or the customers - blame yourself as a company and hold yourself accountable. This shit needs to change in this niche...
