that is correct, I get a lot of hate 1 because they are rpf1, and two because of the size,
Damn for real?? I dont see why one of the best inexpensive performance wheel, in a size that is also very common for tracking/autocross be hated on? Bunch of dummies hating if you ask me:crazy:
None the less, the 17's look good af... but thats just my bias opinion lol

Looks good man. My preferred setup. I have a white hatch and really like your setup. Too bad i cant lower my car as i daily my hatch + winter to deal with.
it is a pretty conservative drop, but I could see how snow could turn things south. thanks

255 35 on a 9.5 rim is golden. No rubbing what so ever. Only lowered on d2 springs though so not sure if you are lower than that

This looks real solid. I wish my wheel was +40 now. That extra 5 mm at +35 gives me some poke and would probably give me rub running 255/35. Have you ever had someone look at your car from the side while you drive and see how much clearance you actually have left while moving?

My car is lowered with one inch wheel gap
And still have a factory ground clearance!

New to the forum, here’s the brand new setup!
Hyper silver Motegi MR140 18x8.5 +35 on stock 235/40 Goodyear Eagle Sports.
Lowered on Eibach pro kit, so far no rubbing.
Motegi site has them rated at just over 18lbs

Finally got my wheels after long a long wait!
18x8 Enkei Vulcans
235/40r18 Vredestein Quatrac 5.
Ride quality definately improved over stock tires and the car is noticeably heavier but not a major difference in mileage maybe 2 -3 mpg is lost. Overall I love the look! Thank you to @gtman for the advice!
