Is Sensing available on the 1.5 manual?

I really like the 1.5 with manual but Sensing is also important to me. Is this combination available?

If so, does the Sensing on the manual include collision avoidance?

For 2019, Honda Sensing is standard on all Civics. So if you’re looking for manual transmission with the 1.5 liter turbo, then you are going to shop for an LX or Sport hatchback.

And Sensing has forward collision mitigation avoidance.

And to add: Sensing is strangely not available on the Si trim or the Type R.

Thanks.

So I would have to be looking at a 2019 LX or Sport hatch? Nothing earlier?

I was also surprised about no Sensing on the Si. Si with Sensing would have been my first choice.

I recall seeing some previous versions like EX sedans that had sensing as an option but finding that combination with a manual could prove challenging. You will have to do some searching if a prior year or pre-owned is what you prefer. Good luck.

I have a 2017 EXT manual and it was not an option to get Sensing when a manual was selected. Just one that you can eliminate from your search efforts.

That is because Si and CTR drivers are superior clairvoyants who pay vigilant attention to the cars around them and the roads they travel. Honda Sensing would just frustrate them since they already use the Force ;)

OR sensing is too advance technology to put on dying old tech.

If you want a manual, then you'll only be looking at a hatchback sport, the manual option in the LX hatchback was dropped in 2019.

Ah, you’re right. I was replying late last night and forgot about that. Thanks

Currently, only the Sport Coupe and Sedan offer Sensing. It's expected that it will be extended to the entire Hatch 6MT lineup and Si Coupe/Sedan, as part of their 2020 MMC.

Pretty much feel this way and will get ripped apart for saying it but... Had the money for for a CTR (or an si) but have 0 desire into owning a manual and Honda sensing really is pretty awesome tech that has saved my rear multiple times from circumstances that weren't just me being distracted. Oh well.

Two options for manual with sensing:

1. 2019 Sport Hatch

2. Wait 4-5 months for the 2020 Sport Touring Hatch

If people would stop texting and driving and start paying attention. we really wouldn't need this. I do like the sensing cruise control though.
