I will be keeping mine stock with respect to engine/trans. My gig is upgrading what I q can with OEM parts. So far i have done:

Physical manual from Honda
OEM UK leather document holder
OEM UK Rear hatch trim pieces
OEM UK engine bay wing covers
OEM UK black lugs and locks
OEM JDM clear corners
OEM JDM yellow fogs
OEM Trunk Tray
OEM HomeLink module
JL center speaker upgrade
Cupholder hero covers

I will hopefully (eventually) get NSX split 5-spoke wheels to replace the stocks, and that will probably be it for me. Maybe a Mugen shift knob if I'm feeling extra crazy.

I run DS Class too. What sway bar are you using?
Karcepts rear bar. Its a quite noisy with some clunking but its probably the best bar to gave for the car.

Bought my R with track days in mind. The car only has 1900 miles since I bought it in April. For me, keeping it strictly for the weekends has made me appreciate it so much more to have it in factory form. I did however opt for 18s, as I did want the best grip for the track. But when I just want to cruise around on the weekend, I just throw the factory 20s back on and enjoy the roads. Only other mods I did was to change out all the interior lights to LED as well as the reverse and turn signal lights (Hated how Honda made the whole front of the car LED just to leave the back Halogen). Its hard not wanting to mod the car more. I said the same thing about my Fiesta ST and now it has a stage II Cobb tune with wing riser, wheels, bla bla bla. Who knows, I might traverse down that slippery slope with the R too.

My goal was to keep it as close to stock as possible and I think I’ve been doing a great job so far......but I’m also the guy that has a downpipe and frontpipe in my living room just waiting to be installed. You win some you lose some.

You're going to tune it as well then?

I used to own an aftermarket parts business, but I'm tapped out on modding cars and plan (plan) to keep the CTR stock. It's why I bought it, as it's pre-modded from Honda for my convenience. I will go down to 18s or 19s eventually, could fathom a cat-back for a little more sound, and will do little stuff like upgrade the sub and hardwire a V1. But ultimately I just want a car I don't have to worry about dicking around with in the garage very much. Done plenty of that, and now in my mid-40s I've found I prefer to just go drive/track my fun car more than working on it. Speaking of track, we'll see what it needs beyond wheels/tires/pads/fluid; may eventually go down the cooling-mods road if I have to, but for as much as I actually get to the track in the last few years it's hardly necessary.

All that said, I've only got about 800 miles on it, so the above is subject to change without notice.
