Hi,
Has anyone experienced that the oil level rises and the oil smells of petrol on their gen10 Civic?
I have a 2017 1,5T Sport and Iàm sure that I can smell petrol on the oilstick.
I know this is a problem on the CRV with the same engine.

It's a known issue in colder weather or when doing a bunch of short drives. There is an updated for the car from the dealer that supposedly helps. From what I've read it shouldn't happen as bad or be an issue if you do longer trips as the fuel burns out.

I have never heard of this, ever.....
You are in FL. Cold is mostly absent specially in your area.
This is a known issue on 1.5T engines that are driven on very short trips and are located on very cold climates.

Spend some time on the website researching the term 'oil dilution' and you'll find everything you need. At this point, it is a well documented issue and an a ECU fix from Honda has been released. Consensus is cold weather and short trips makes the problem worse.

Solutions include checking the oil level occasionally, taking longer trips to boil the gas out of the oil and bumping up those oil change intervals.
