I assume the second cut out hole is for the horn sound? I think it would look 1000 times bettter if you made the horn area solid also, and then drill evenly spaced holes for the horn. Make a Rectangular pattern of holes. Like 6 or 8 holes. The current cutout seems rather large and likely doesn’t help the aero dynamics. Kind of sucks you can see so much of the behind the bumper “guts” of the car, too.

This is a cool application and looks better than I could’ve imagined. I think just doing something a bit more creative with the gaping hole and you’d have
Uh, I dunno what happened there, hahaha.

Anyway, you’d have a pretty hot product. If it is intended for aerodynamics, fill the hole on the none-horn side, and make the horn side not so big? Looks like it might require a bigger sheet of carbon to make that happen- is it a large cost drawback?

That is completely doable, evenly spaced holes would be easy and I can customize it however someone would like.
Personally, I like the "guts" of the car and wanted a lot of air on the intercooler piping and engine block and that is what I got.

The rear is finished and it looks GREAT! Again the sun was uncooperative.
I even replaced that shitty bicycle reflector with the red kevlar/carbon fiber weave.
Next is the fake vent on behind the wheel on the rear quarter next to the bumper, I'm just going to cut it open.
Then the HOOD SCOOP!!!

Doesn't removing the reflector go against requirements made by the NHTSA for car safety? All cars have them for a reason.

You might be right and you can surrender your man card to the omnipotent US federal government. A reflector is on the bottom of my long list of car personalizing concerns. :)

Here is the breakdown...

These are one off handmade pieces like a carved statue and as such each one is slightly unique, they will be customized to your personality/requests and they are very labor intensive! I will start with a new factory piece and customize your choice of carbon fiber insert with whatever type of vent that you want. I AM OPEN to trade talks/business negotiations.

The front custom pair are $1000 and the rear pair are $850.
The Whole car will be $1600.

Options/Variables :drive:
You send me your stock pieces? $85 less per piece.
No vents? $75 less per piece.
If you are creatively artistic and have a LOT OF TIME and TOOLS and PATIENCE and are willing to DIY the project, I will work with you to create a customized kit for your needs including tutorial, after sale support and your custom carbon fiber insert for $120 per grille insert.

Hug your Honda, remove the ugly fake crap

I’m liking that CF insert. Curious how it’d look at night. Looks good...Very creative.
It has a hint of reflective signature when lit from different angles, changing from red to dark so headlights should be entertaining and I will get some footage.

Wow pretty condescending statement with the "you can surrender your man card" comment. But I will take it with a grain of salt and as a joke.

I humbly apologize and certainly did not mean to be offensive. Sometimes I think I am funnier than I really am and online it is difficult to convey jolly and not seem jabby. Sorry.

My inner comedian gets me in trouble at HP too :catfight:

No worries. That is why I said at the end I was taking it as a joke. Sometimes on these boards it is difficult to tell a persons tone in what they are writing. That is why I don't take things too seriously.

In any case the replacement pieces you are showing are looking nice.
