I had no frame of reference as I did the full turbo back all at once, but yeah dude it is LOUD. Let me know what you think about highway cruising, especially around 2.5k-3k RPM. It sounds great but almost too pronounced at that range.
Yeah dude that range is pretty killer on my ears and head lol. No joke there are times it’s literally rattling my brains and it happens in the funniest of ranges. It’s usually the most droney or boomy at lower rpm ranges. Unfortunately for me, I drive mainly locally so that means I’m usually hovering in that range most of the time. I’m gonna need to learn how to control the sound better by either having to downshift and stay on lower gears or simply let off the throttle more. But even though it’s a bit loud for my tastes, I’m loving every minute of it so far.

Glad it worked! Luckily I have a good mechanic who does this type of stuff for me for cheap!
Trust me, I would do the same if I had a good hookup. Unfortunately I do not, but it was extremely satisfying to do this on my own. I purchased the Si to fulfill my prepubescent teenage dreams of living the Fast and Furious lifestyle and I’m living the dream now!

Hey guys can anyone help me?

I’m installing the 27Won downpipe right now but I’ve discovered a small problem... the studs that I use to connect the DP to the Front Pipe is still on the OEM DP. However, I’m having a hard time getting them removed from the old DP.

Do I need to just buy new studs? Or just leave them soaked and somehow screw it off?

I wish the 27Won downpipe came with studs or something or am I missing something here?

Help please! I’m so close to finishing this install! Thanks in advance!
@ne0guri apologies that this caused some issues for you during install. I just reviewed our installation instructions and found that we don't have any instruction about that OEM DP studs. We'll be getting those updated so this is not an issue again for anyone else and we'll look into adding studs & nuts.

I'm glad the community could get you sorted out over the weekend. We are close Saturday and Sunday, but can usually be reached on Social Direct Messaging if you have an urgent question.

It is catted and it’s still freaking loud
What kind of exhaust do you have. I’m 27won Catted Dp/Fp on stock cat back. It got louder then the stock dp but still quiet to me. I plan on getting a cat back to make it louder.

I got the full turbo back system from 27Won. Their back exhaust + Frontpipe is loud but the Downpipe has made it even more aggressive. I was first kind of regretting it but I’m actually loving it now. If you want louder, complete the setup and get the back exhaust, I promise you won’t regret it. Check out my original review thread for sound clips if you haven’t already.

No problem at all and I’m just happy I’m doing my part for the community by helping improve all the little things that might get missed. Seriously I’m so happy every time I start the car, you guys seriously hit a home run with this system.

I hate jam nuts. Those pos's locked up on me too and I pulled one stud out and striped the other. had to cut those damn jam nuts off with a dremel cutting wheel and luckily had enough thread left I could cut off the strip and still attach with proper nuts and lock washers.
