Honda spare tire install instructions

I get the two plastic pop rivets no problem, but my question is how do you get the tether loops disconnected from the car to be able to lift the cover out?

Don't have a link but called Honda parts this morning and got the number 06421TGHA33ZA. No guarantee that it's accurate. Parts dude said comes w/o tire even though mine came with one!!?? I can't find any paperwork on my purchase so maybe it was extra. This is the temporary spare not a full size tire.

Put mine in last night. Easily done thanks to Nanook.
