This is the door that was hit and had to be repaired/replaced/whatever they did. Looks like they didnt cure it properly?

One thing after another with these knuckle daggers.

That's not what I wanted to hear. The car is only 2 years old. Rust should not be a thing. Since the dealer did the fixing last time , I assume they'd have to fix it again, problem is I live an hour away now.

I'm going to have to bring it up, but what exactly can I actually do?

Mind you I am doing my best to be civil right now. I'm a lot less happy than I sound. =/

Have you checked the very underside of the door? I'm thinking maybe they didn't prime and paint that area and rust worked it's way up there. Have you sent pictures to them? Maybe they can bring a loaner to you and take your car back and fix it?

Well it was over a year ago. I'm bringing it in for an unrelated thing that is covered under warranty, so I'm going to have to mention it then.

Well considering it is only happening on that one door that they "fixed" after the accident they better fix it.

Part of the problem is that the place that did it (bodyshop at dealer) is an hour away now (it's where I bought the car, when I used to live there) so this is a real pain. I really miss the days of quality work. Nowadays it's hit or miss, but you get charged all the same.

Oops. Missed it was a post repair issue. Yes they better fix it!!!

I agree. We’ve been fortunate to have found a place that does super work though. They did make a mistake, but holy crap the fix was spectacular!

I am one of those "I want to keep the car for 10+ years" people. I don't have the funds to just keep buying new cars every 2 years. It would drain the savings.
