ROFL: Yes, it's all about personal taste...

I would say No Picture in the frame is better than an UGLY picture !!
Someone actually asked me if I was leaving the picture of Hawaii in there

I think a solid one-piece without the holes in black will look good too. This is their version 2 but still prefer the vent without the border and black rivets.

Those look so clean, was there an upcharge for making them holeless?

I mean no disrespect here ---
It looks like there is an air duct in that general area and of course the diffuser too.
One of the things that makes the R special is that the aero pieces are actually, well, aero pieces.
If you add or remove (open or block) a hole that wasn't there before don't you undermine the entire point of the aero design?
Maybe it doesn't matter to you - that's cool - they look great (especially that black with orange TypeSiR!).
But I'm not sure I'd fiddle with bits like that if I were headed to the track with it unless it was tested out?
Curious...

These are similar-looking to the rumored 2020 refresh spy pics posted couple months back. Where from?

Rakuten global website, I had a friend of a friend that lives in Japan buy them for me since the company doesn’t ship their products to the U.S., unless you use a forwarding shipping service.

I can only tell you how it feels. I have driven it in excess of 130 mph a number of times. It feels just a planted, and tight on turns as ever. This next part might just my creative imagination, but the car feels lighter, faster. Like someone took the parachute off the car. I have zero proof, just feels.
