usb video hack?

I have had the honda hack on my si for a while. Recently I started exploring the usb ports in the car for photo wallpaper and to use as a music source. Is there a way using the hack to allow for usb flashdrive sourced video playback? An apk perhaps? Currently a warning disclaims its not allowed for fear of a distracted driver I assume. Tabs appear but the "button" for video is non select able.

I use my gallery as a source to play back music vids stored on my usb drive stored in the center console beneath the cup holder or USB port directly under the infotainment. If you have hondahack you can bypass the parking brake in the Honda hack menu to have video/apps in motion. You can also download MXplayer via hondahack if you want to be able to playback your entire music/video playlist stored on your usb stick/drive that app works great too.

I found a simple (no browser) after 2 failed attempts, hd mp4 player on apkpure that works well and is 480 x360 res and looks great. just download onto usb drive install w/hack reboot the system and you are done. With the hack i can watch video on the fly w/a usb drive for a source

IDK if its just my card or the ammount of music i have on it (about 60gb) but it bogs down the HU like crazy. I downloaded Google Play music and Disconnected the HU runs pretty zippy and sounds great, but as soon as I plug that USB in its sooooooo slow to load anything! sometimes doesnt even load all the tracks on the card. It's a 256gb MicroSD Samsung V30 card in a USB controller plugged into the USB port under the cup holder.

Could the host be the issue? What do you guys think?
