Yeah depending on the thickness those are going to be pelted to shjt and cracked

I rather have a proper replacement mesh
It is surprisingly durable and easily swap-able to a new piece if needed. I will shoot it with a pellet gun and post a pic.
It can be made with mesh if you prefer, no problem. I just happen to like the composites, they are SEXY.

Hello fellow enthusiasts,

I am still cutting the templates out for the Type R but have some choices of composite solutions to this issue. I am the Director of HP Motorsports that was only born on 5/24/19. I welcome all who want to be involved and there will be an early bird price for everything we produce. I am connected with the highest quality composite company using a proprietary method of carbon and hybrid layouts. The first inserts will be RED KEVLAR/CARBON WEAVE. I will post a picture tomorrow and can customize the cutouts for directive airflow. (just talk to me)

We will also be using the incredible tech advancements of HP 3D printing to make more products soon. PM me if you want to be apart of it.

Get friendly with cars :)
Ian interested.

That and if it was black...id totally buy haha
If you want basic black carbon fiber, I can do that no problem! I am going to do that for some people already. I just like the red but it can be other colors and no vents too.
It is customizable to nearly any personal preference.

The REAR IS DONE :) (minus some minor final sanding and fitting)
It looks GREAT and completes the car with the front done, even replaced that shitty bicycle reflector!! Damn sun does not like the wide pictures on cloudy days (crappy phone maybe) but in person it is whole new level of class and quality, especially compared to the lame stock pieces!!
What you see through the vent in the photos is dependent on the angle and I was playing with reflective lighting, hence the difference.

Soon the HOOD SCOOP will be fixed!

You need some kind of mesh for the cutout or else you’re inviting a storage bin of large rocks/leaves/critters

Possibly but nothing yet in over 100 miles and I can add any feature desired.

Here is the breakdown...

These are one off handmade pieces like a carved statue and as such each one is slightly unique, they will be customized to your personality/requests and they are very labor intensive! I will start with a new factory piece and customize your choice of carbon fiber insert with whatever type of vent that you want. I AM OPEN to trade talks/business negotiations.

The front custom pair are $1000 and the rear pair are $850.
The Whole car will be $1600.

Options/Variables :drive:
You send me your stock pieces? $85 less per piece.
No vents? $75 less per piece.
If you are creatively artistic and have a LOT OF TIME and TOOLS and PATIENCE and are willing to DIY the project, I will work with you to create a customized kit for your needs including tutorial, after sale support and your custom carbon fiber insert for $120 per grille insert.

Hug your Honda, remove the ugly fake crap

The Kevlar/Carbon fiber weaves come in blue, red and yellow.
There is a very nice silver composite and then there is the familiar black Carbon/carbon fiber weave. I'll get some pics up.

At this point I am sticking to the price structure I posted above.
