It came with some weird rings. Didn’t use.

Stock bolts reused.

My hatchback has those “plates”, my coupe doesn’t have them. Also, bar only. No decals, but I wouldn’t use them anyways.

those rings are for the hose line that your strut bar touches... you wanna wrap that hose line so that when the bar gets hot and wears away that hose line you won't be a sad driver

The plastic rings go over the tubes/wires so the bar doesn’t rub holes in them.

If you look to the left of the DC label, you can see the main hose that I've added the protective rings to. This shot also shows why I chose this bar over some others, easier access to brake fluid.

How's the installation? pros and cons?..... how's the ride handling after the strut bar was installed?

Install was a bit challenging since there are no "screw" adjustments. I did not lift the car to install. I positioned the bar so the pointed bolts at both ends were slightly in, and threaded the stock nut a few turns to hold it in place. Then, with a small rubber mallet, I "gently" tapped on the ends to fully position the bar.

At slow, just driving around town speeds, I don't notice anything really. At a decent amount of speed, on some curvy roads, you can feel a bit of a sharper turn in. It "feels" like it's responding faster to your steering inputs.

I just installed mine this weekend.
posted in the 'big' thread as well, but sure noticed a different right away when I swerved down the street over & over!
I didn't jack it up either, never did that on my other cars before...
torqued it to specs, drove around a bit and re-torqued it.
I didn't put that 'ring' around that hose, I'll wind up putting some plastic tubing over it that's leftover from my audio wiring.

I like the design of this bar the best, the UR has a weird bracket and sits higher.

I've promoted the UR bar mostly because of the one piece design. But I have to say this one looks better and the fact it gives easy access to the brake fluid is a real plus. One piece for the win.

I promote the UR bar still even with other full 1 piece bars because it is the only strut bar I can use with my intake without any rubbing issues.
why is your intake anywhere near the strut bar?

I installed this strut bar today and I used the included plastic pieces to protect the wires coming from the negative terminal but the plastic and the bar are touching. The wires and plastic are snug so I’m not worried about rubbing, but do you guys think the bar could melt through the plastic and the wires?
