I uninstalled the boomba rear engine mount on my CVT as I am getting rid of the car tomorrow morning, but its almost like the engine is too far forward now when I am attempting to reinstall the old mount. I can't just simply nudge it forward either. Its a good half inch off going in. Why is it all of a sudden so far off and so far forward? The place I'm trading the car in tomorrow is 3.4miles away, so I just say eff it and drive there in the AM with the rear engine mount only attached to the engine, or does anyone have any idea why this happened? It installed so easily when I first put it on.

I can't imagine this is related to your old mount. Find a pry bar or something to get the motor where you want it to be. I would NOT drive it without mount connected. It would be a shame to have a massive repair bill instead of being able to trade it in.

I can't find a good leverage spot to push it BACKWARDS, I've been trying for awhile now too. Taking a short break currently.
