Aint you suppose to get the sound too with cold air intake? I dont want the bov sound if the car will run rich?

I have prl cobra with my sport hatch, it sounds amazing and make me step on it all day long.. i dont get why people buy roomba bov ... i thought maybe hks bov wont cause the same problem..
Just get a intake and k&n filter, you'll get plenty of sound

Two questions if anybody could weigh in...

1) I'm looking at buying this IC soon but am undecided on the piping kit that comes with it. Are the stocks pipes suitable with a tune? Or should I go for the extra piping kit too? I know silicone has a habit of expanding under high system pressures (assuming the stock pipes are silicone).

2) Though I'll probably not do it to keep the efficiency as high as possible, what kind of spray paint is suggested for the stencil? Most posts or forums that I've read lead into keyboard warrior arguments over emissivity and whatnot ha.

Any help is appreciated!

You'll need the hks piping as factory is too small to fit to hks.

As for paint, I'd guess high temp radiator paint should work, but I can't say for sure. I opted not to paint it...imo HKS letters look massive and blocking...not great to look at imo

Oh? I thought the core was a straight swap for the stock core and the piping (the inlet/outlet charge pipes I should clarify) was an optional extra? The HKS end tanks are the same by the look of it.

The size of the lettering is half the reason why I'm put off by the stencil.

Cheers

Yeah I thought the same....found out the hard way. Not sure why they sell it separately.
