The greddy plate has 4 ports and 2 you could use for sensors .You just need to rotate the plate so the ports point away from the oil pan .Here's a picture of the install on a FK8

Also @ OP don't know if you did but Always mount the oil cooler on rubber grommets .As far as i can see on the pictures you bolted it straight onto the frame ?Thats going to crack ...
I actually read up on this last night, I found out that Greddy sells fittings for the extra ports for the oil temp and pressure sensors. P2M adapter is pretty similar and includes the fittings at a lower price ~ $67. But for the $40 difference I think I’ll go Greddy for the quality and assured fitment.

Just my thoughts: DIY oil cooler setups, even with higher quality components, are usually much more affordable than complete, platform-specific kits made by companies. The money you save on piecing your own kit is in exchange for the time and additional money you'll have to spend researching and piecing together components to make sure it fits right. Once someone comes out with a strong DIY, similar to what's been done here, that trade-off lessens, and it makes more sense to piece your own kit together.

But who knows, maybe a company leverages their size and comes out with a complete, quality kit that's affordable for the masses!

I agree with you compeletely, I have my own pieced up list sitting at under $300 but that doesn’t include the oil temp sensor. The only thing left to figuire out is the mounting brackets, but given OP made it work, I’m sure it’s not too bad to figuire out.

So, did you increase the oil capacity in the engine as the oil is rerouting to oil cooler. I guess you need to put more oil in the engine so that the engine will not starve for oil

Car runs good... a few track passes and I retired the car back to a daily... 300hp for over a year.... the si is well cooled by the gplus DIY kit. Save a couple hundred bucks and do the work.

Yeah I planned on doing a DIY install because $600 from sirimoto is no thanks. What clutch you running?
