I've been thinking about upgrading to 18's from my stock 17's. But every time I almost pull the trigger, I hesitate. I don't plan on lowering my car and every time I see plus size wheels on a stock height Civic, it looks "off". Am I the only one that sees that?

depends on the offset and/or style to me
18" are stock on the Si, and HFPs are 19", and of course the Type-R is 20".
I think 19" is a good look overall for all Civics, but the ride is already semi-harsh with 18", so I'll stay that way.

The more I monitor this thread, I'm leaning toward 18x9.5 w/ a 40-45mm offset and 245/40s or even 255/35...will need to see a few more examples of the later first...

The bigger wheels look fine on stock Si's and Type R's but they also have a slightly lower factory ride height than the non-performance models, right? Those are the ones I'm referring to.

18 inch for any model of the civic is just perfect...anything smaller looks weird.......

Doesn't look weird or too small to me.

Thanks guys, much appreciated!
Any rubbing for either of you guys?
@SCcanyoncrvr , what's your offset?
And @Tkay , what's that fake vent mod thing you have going???
Yes rubbing on aggressive cornering. I ended up having my fenders shaved a couple mm instead of rolling as well as filed down the side marker. If you are not driving the car aggressively then you will be fine.
