Even in northern China, where the dilution was more serious due to the extremely cold weather, the owners went to protest outside the dealerships for months, but yet there were no cases of damaged engines. Only oil level as high as 30mm above max, which caused check engine light and limp mode.
Are you aware if the China 1.5T is manufactured in the same plant in Anna, Ohio, USA?

checked mine, the level is way over full. I think it smells like gasoline, it smells like my lawnmower, which smells like gasoline. :)

Also when I checked the oil level, the gas cover popped open. No joke! (probably I bumped it somehow but it was funny)

Honestly. Honda quality has gone down the drain. Long are the days when you used to buy a Honda that was going to last over 300k miles. All I know is soon I'm getting rid of mine and not buying a Honda again.

Gone are the days when you go to the Gym and back home. Now you have to make an extra trip to make sure fuel is burned. Not over blown just an extra hassle to remember.

The maintenance minder accounts for that contingency, sans 2-3 extreme examples from the CRV.

As mentioned above, this issue is way overblown.

You live in Cali, why are you making an extra trip? Its not like its 0 degrees. And literally, do the auto start, go out 2 minutes later and drive. You have fallen for the dilution propaganda

Live in Tahoe and I noticed the oil dilution. Doing what Honda says and it has worked. Your right, auto start, go out 2 minutes later and drive but that's a hassle. Would be better just to drive lol.

If auto starting your car is a hassle I feel for you and anything else you do in life that actually requires any type exertion or skill. And you noticed dilution? How did you notice it, did you smell your oil, or send it in for an analysis?

Ahaha relax.. I do appreciate for thinking of me but you don't have to feel for me. I"m just saying it's a hassle.

Yes, oil level increase on short drives and yes and no.

Could the fuel/oil dilution issue just be fixed by just changing your oil?

What causes this issue?
