woo. trick question because some are hollow and some are solid
a better question is whats the ft/lbs for bend. or what ever the measurement is for torsion.

From another forum:

Here's the sizing of stock rear bars:

2017 Civic Hatchback LX Rear: 16.5mm
2017 Civic Si Sedan Rear: 18.0mm
2017 Civic Type R Rear: 20.5
and you might find some more here:

Looking at the current Honda website:

2019 Coupe sway bars:
LX 25.0 Front, 16 rear
Sport, EX etc: 25.5 front, 16.5 rear
Si: 27mm front, 18mm rear

2019 Hatch
LX: 25.5 front, 16.5 rear
Sport, EX etc: 25.5 front, 16.5 rear

Are sway bars and stabilizer bars the same thing?

Yes. The CTR rsb is the thickest of them all lol
However I would like to recommend you to upgrade the front sway bar as well to go with the rsb due to over/understeer.

Thanks.
I was pretty sure it would fit, but didn't see the answer in a quick search that I did on threads.

I'm interested in occasionally doing AutoX with my Si, and I can only change one of the sway bars, and remain in the GS class.
My thought is, by swapping out the rear sway bar, I can get more neutral steering.

Thanks again, for the confirmation.

In your case, swapping to the CTR rsb would be good enough. I'm currently using the Si rsb on my hatch. Once you decided to go with aftermarket rsb such as Cusco or Whiteline, then you would need to do both front and rear.

That's a pretty blanket statement. Just throwing parts at a car wont make it faster.

I have a Karcepts bar set to the middle on both sides, 1,113LBS, which is pretty close to the cusco at ~1,030LBS and I'm still not getting enough rotation. Planning on upping the bar for future autox events. OEM SI is 457lbs and CTR is 721lbs for reference.

Totally agree on this.

Can anyone confirm if the Front sway bars are interchangeable from Type R to base models?
