Adding a red pinstripe to center exhaust tip

I've been wanting to add a red pinstripe to the edge of my center exhaust tip, like the one that was on the prototype R. I am not sure where to start though. Is anyone familiar with this mod that can point me in the right direction?

Just clean the tip up and hand paint. I don't think pinstripe tape will last long due to heat and moisture.

Looks awesome. What paint did you go with? Did you just paint the forward facing edge, or did you overlap the sides a bit as well? It looks like you painted all the way down, but I can't be sure.

That's a picture from the prototype. I have never done it. I'd imagine any heat-resistant red paint would do and tape off a portion of the tip and hand paint. Good luck.

Can't find the photos but someone did it over here with high temp paint just a centimetre down the pipe and it looked great

Yeah pretty sure that original was done in a candy red on top of chrome all the way down. It's a great look, but would be tough to do when it's on the car since the sides are so close to the other tips. I'd love to hear if anyone has done and what their experience was like. Looks sharp
