Set a new personal best at Thunderhill West.

Sadly I lost a little time at the end as the app didn't count the start/ finish line as the same spot where I lifted behind the red S2000. Would've had a 1:26.9 or faster I think :(

Where can I buy these?
To save some searching, here are the links to the Spoon mirror covers from gotuning (for type R):
Side mirrors: http://www.gotuning.com/product_info.php?products_id=2022
Rear view mirror: http://www.gotuning.com/product_info.php?products_id=1954
Like he said: gotuning. That’s where I got mine from as well. I ordered mine last Wednesday. Hopefully they should still have some more in stock for you.

looks like icb is about 20 bucks cheaper
Well I don't know if you care or not, but the ones you linked are the ICB and Vision Technica collab mirrors. They are not the Spoon mirrors these members have on.

That would explain the $20 difference.

SouthPoint Honda? I've pretty much stopped dealing with all together. If you want great service on your R, ask for Nick in the service department over at AutoPark Honda in Cary. Bit more of a drive, but totally worth it IMO. Nick only lets this one tech work on R's that is a total gear head and treats it like we would. You can tell him that Chris Cole with the black R recommended him.
Yup. You nailed it. I bought my R from AutoPark and love them. Their services dept was unfortunately closed on Sunday. Thanks for the tip and I’ll see if I can get Southpoint to simply pay for the fix if I get it fixed at AutoPark.
So... this turned into something preposterously silly. I originally agreed to have the wheel repaired by Southpoint so long as I could not tell there was any damage. But the dealership kept being unable to coordinate the repair with their outsourced repairwoman. Then I got a survey, and you better believe I laid into them. Subsequently, they agreed to replace the damaged rim with a brand new OEM rim. Great, I think. Finally they will take this seriously. Wait for it...

They scratched the new rim upon installation. It's only minor damage compared to their initial screw-up, but it is still a good 1.0"-1.5" scratch along the outer edge of the rim (in the exact same place as many of their initial scrapes and scratches). They have shown themselves unable to handle the simple task of removing a rim from a Type R. I can't even fathom taking the car and letting them have it ever again as I fear them irreparably damaging the vehicle further in some way.

How is a modern Honda dealership not capable of taking off a Type R rim without damaging it?!?

Oh, and did I mention they drove the car for 5 miles the first time but didn't log it in their system? They gave me my vehicle back the first time and said the mileage did not change when they had driven it for 5 miles. 5 miles that, upon me calling them out on the difference, they later said was "necessary" to reset the TPMS system (which we all know does not require any mileage driven to recalibrate). What a horrible service unit they run.

Last night while driving down the highway I had an awful scraping sound. Pulled over and saw the underside of the car was pulled back and dragging the road. Took it in today and they said they bent it back up, replaced the pins, and used zip ties. Didn't show me what it looked like. I can't imagine it's back to normal. They told me during my next oil change they could replace it for $50 with no labor cost since it needs to be removed to replace the oil anyway.

icb is $20 cheaper and not Spoon. Obviously end of it comes down to saving a little money or going with Spoon. Not

Exactly. Not sure about the quality of the icb mirrors, but the quality of the Spoon mirrors are top notch.

2. Installed new car horn. PIAA. Sounds much better than the stock horn in my opinion.

They definitely shouldn't be attempting to remove/install a tire if they don't have the right machine's. Buddy of mine worked at a Honda dealership in town that would send people to a different dealership for tires until they got the right machine. Sounds like they're ego got in the way of doing the right thing for you.

On the mileage side, don't worry about 5 miles. They can't really damage the car in 5 miles and many dealerships have the techs drive the car around after almost any service, to make sure everything is good. Imagine if you got the car back and there was vibration from a wheel not balanced right. You'd be pissed.

Unscrewed the camber holding bolt on Monday and pushed the front over to max camber possible for the stock suspension. Physically can't see much difference and can't feel any adjustment in my butt dyno lol... But may as well try it! Super easy process. Although I remember to purchase TWO M10 nuts and not one... Once it's on there it's a PITA to get back off ;)
Do you mind posting pictures? I am going to start working on my suspension Soon. Thanks

ah, I'm so used to seeing spoon sell them, that I didn't realize, lol

Wonder if/how much of a difference it is between the two

Added the vinyl "EJECT" sticker on the blank button above the drive mode switch. I like it...better than staring at a blank space where a functional button should be for something that Honda cheaped out on us

nice where did you get yours. I know I've people before and I think they told me, but can't find the link. I want one of those also
