Probably not a placebo. Just like the UR bar, it's a solid one piece design. And that's the key. What people tend to not get is that a front strut bar has nothing to do with reducing body roll in a corner. It's all about keeping the front strut tower geometry stable. The front end just feels more solid especially in quick slalom type moves like fast lane changes.
yup, I wanted the one-piece, and I liked that this one was closer to the towers than the UR bar...technically will have less flex, not sure how much in practice however...

Ended up buying a second set of hem floor mats off Ebay to remove type r badges, to instal them onto my Weathertechs. Tight fit but happy with how it looks. I know she is dirty getting a bath tomorrow.

Still upgrading my LX interior to OEM EX and higher trim pieces. Added the sliver trims around the upper vents. Figured out how to get the gauge trim off without removing the whole dash piece to replace with silver. Forgot it at home but removed the original and will add silver piece tomorrow. LX is all black on upper vent pieces/guages and wanted it to match the lower silver pieces.

Way to go! It's like treasure hunting and discovering the possibility of the car, I did similar thing on my old Galant, only I have to get my parts from the junkyard, but Civic is still new, there's plenty ways to get parts, makes the game easier:thumbsup:

For the Galant I found a set of OEM leather door panels and leather rear bench which only comes in higher trims, also the carbon looking interior trims that only comes with 02-03 GTZ, and then some parts from the Eclipse and others from Europe........ All used lol so grab the new parts while we still can:D

Edited:
Instagram embed is still not working for me:(
But this is the link

After the practice I have last week, this time it only took me couple minutes to take the cover off. I gave some thought last week after I put the cover back on, and realized I can totally just turn the mounting bracket 90 degree to the right up, and my new horns would totally fit. So I work the way I planned, and works flawlessly now:headbang: if possible, I wish I could have the horns point down, but it's not that bad now.

After weeks of procrastination and rains, finally wash the car again, I probably have enough clean car pictures so I'll skip it this time.

Took some time to tidy up the wires behind the glove box, and take a look at "the cut" the shop did to make my glove box damper retrofit possible, pictures taken, that being said, a write up is coming soon

Stickers, yes I put stickers on the tint again, so hard to see lol
I found this design on Amazon jp a while ago, but somehow this seller does not offer shipping to US, and months later, I found this Rakuten Global Express service, which give me a Japanese address, collect all the items I want in Japan and send to US all at once, so that's how I finally got these stickers

I think they also have the design for the Type R and the Sedan (which is the same as the Coupe as we all know)

Anyone by chance have a pic of their 2018 Honda Civic LX Sedan in Silver with a blackout front grill? I'm most likely gonna do it, I have the chrome around the windows gone already and 15% tints. Getting smoked side markers later this week. Gonna run down the OEM tires then get some all black rims and nice tires.

I did my first waterless wash.

1. I tried last night with Turtle Wax and failed. It streaked everywhere. Mostly this was my bad beginner technique.
2. I tried again today with Ultima (thanks, gtman!). I think Ultima is less streaky and I was also much more careful the second time around.

It was a learning process, but I was happy with the end result ...

Yes they will fit 100%, I noticed alot of parts do this so when I check for parts for my 2018, I just search 2017 civic
Oddly they just cancelled my order saying it wouldn't fit. Weird.
